So, I assume the majority of men-folk like it long and blond.
My hair's been fairly long and its natural light brown color for a long time.  
I'm starting to get a little tired of it, but as a new provider I want to appeal to a broad section of potential clients.

Length is probably more important than color (size matters?), but I'd like to shorten it to chin length--which is actually a more flattering look on me--and maybe dye it a medium blond shade.  

Will the lighter shade mitigate the shorter length?
Are men more likely to skip over a provider who doesn't have the long, flowing locks?
Does anyone even care?

Looking at pix of providers,  almost all have long hair...
But maybe some men are out there yearning hopelessly for a short-haired girl...

On a side note:  I recently heard that in a shitty economy, women tend to cut their hair shorter (and vice versa), and I've been noticing this trend in NYC, lately...so maybe men prefer the long hair even more in hard times, as it reminds them of the good ol' days...

I'd appreciate responses from both men and women on this totally trivial topic...

Perhaps I do get a little charge from a provider with long blond hair, but this wouldn't make it into the top ten of features I look for. I see providers with boyishly short hair, long flowing tresses and everything in between.

What I'm looking for is a dynamic, honest person who's a nymphomaniac and in great physical shape. If you're that, you're good in my book.

Personnaly I do prefer the longer hair but if the overall look is good and the provider has good reviews I would still schedule a visit.  I am kind of new at this hobby and have only visited with three providers.  The way I have made my decision is I search the reviews and if a provider has good reviews I then go to her website and look at her pictures.  I do look at the TER review and check that the pictures are real and accurate.  If all of that is good and her looks attract me I will print her profile, photos and reviews.  I then put them in sequential order in the order that I plan to visit with them.  It just so happens that the three providers that I have visited so far all had long hair and the next one I plan to visit also has long hair but the two after that have hair about the length that you are thinking about.  So to make a long story short, I would schedule a visit with a provider with chin length hair but it just might take me a little longer to get there.  Of course if I really enjoyed the experience then I would definitely schedule additional visits no matter the hair length.  The hair color is not that important to me as long as the overall look is good.  The three providers that I have visited had light brown hair, blonde hair and black hair.

I understand that you are trying to play the odds, so to speak, and want to appeal to as many potential customers as possible.  But I personally don't think hair length matters much.

What is more important is that you do whatever makes you feel sexier or more attractive or more comfortable.  Some guys might be searching for one particular 'look', but I think most just want to find a beautiful, fun, sensual woman that will make them feel good for a while.

Also, one more thing, make sure that you get updated pictures showing your new look.  I saw one provider whose pictures showed her in a long, auburn, tigress-like mane of hair.  When she opened the door, she had a very short chop cut style.  It threw me for a loop for a minute.  She was still attractive, just not what I had built up in my head in anticipation of our time together.

for me... I have very short red hair, and I get TONS of men who pick me, at least in part, because of it.

I really like my chic and sassy look... and I wouldn't trade it for anything. The fellows who want long tresses have many, many providers to choose from. My look stands out, and I think that's good.

So please yourself. I did!

My honest opinion is that the lady should do with her appearance that which she is happiest with, which makes her feel the best about herself. This  confidence in her appearance will make more of a difference than trying to appeal to a perceived nitch.

I love a lady's hair in every color and length as long as it is natural or a high quality approximation, and as long as I can run my fingers through it.  

And frankly I adore a shorter (chin length) sassy hairstyle. It looks upbeat and energetic. As long as it flatters the individual lady.

And I don't have to worry about laying on it....

I vote YES to hair on head; no hair below.  Beyond that, it's all a plus.  I can honestly say that most ladies I've seen could dramatically change their hair style/color, and I would never know (or care).

But then again, I'm a guy.  Gain 2 pounds, and I'll notice in a heartbeat, but hair?  Not so much.

Its actually the first thing I notice (in a face pic, and when meeting civvie strangers for the first time).

But, if as you say, shorter hair is more flattering for you, maybe it is. Whatever makes you feel the most attractive may be thought that way by others as well.

I LOVE short styled hair on a woman. I think its yells "chic" and "sassy". Seeing a lady with short hair in lingerie (or a business suit) makes my mouth water. Yummy

The length of hair depends on alot of things.  Do you have a small petite face.  Do you have thin or thick hair?  Is your body on the full figure side.  What is your age?  All of these things determine hair length.  my 2 cents worth.  If your petite and have a small face, wear a bob.  If you are a large gal balance it with more hair.  I luv jet black hair....

gets you in consideration but performance seals the deal.

With short hair, I got men saying it looked cute, but it was hard to style. With longer hair, I got men thinking it's still cute and sexy.

I actually started getting higher numbers in the appearance department when I had longer hair. So, I think that is something interesting.

I also think that some women do not look good in long hair, so they should wear a cute, bobbed hairstyle. Whatever makes you feel good -- and sexy -- is the best thing to do. Besides, there's always ponytails you can clip into your hair. The variety of clip-ons, extensions and wigs are amazing. Most look very real.  Sometimes I have a shorter ponytail and other times it's longer. Men love the look and have never complained out about. However, if I'm wearing a clip-on, I don't like men pulling on it!

Short hair makes it easier to that, so I have a short hair preference.  I always appreciate it when a lady with long hair puts it in a pony tail for the same reason.

i think...its all in how you feel. If a shorter cut makes you feel sexy hot, do what makes you feel the best. What brings out the sexy in you.
you are in the end the one who needs to feel best about what you look like and if you are happy it will come out in you.
I don't think it matters in the end if you cut your hair or not we all know you can't make everybody happy but if you make yourself happy that will be reflected to others.

I absolutely love my short, sassy hairstyle and it fits my personality to a T. Not to mention, styling is a breeze...even after having a mans hands wander through it for a couple of hours, all I have to do is style it with my fingers briefly and out the door I go!

OP- If you're considering changing the length of your hair drastically, I suggest you locate a salon who offers a computer analysis on their menu. Prior to my short hair, I had extremely long hair that I could sit on. Before making my final decision, I went into a salon...had them snap a picture of me and then they altered the photo with varies short hairstyles on their computer, until I found the perfect match for my facial structure and personality.

but if I were you I'd get highlighted hair. blonde highlights thoughout and red on the bottome or something where you could say your a redhead and a blonde or brunette and ablonde... you could even say"bestof both worlds slutty blonde and kinky brunnette"
