I'm curious to know whether real photos from your digi are better to use than professional pictures.... i personally take professional ones and i get a lot more feedback that way. let me know!!!
well im still working on my site since i wanted to make one and not pay for one (my dumb a55 thinking i knew enough about html codes and graphics). i will def keep you updated when they're up.
I personally lean more toward the professional artist shots, though some ladies have a combination of both on their website. But, I'm with MrFisher in regards to being interested in a link to your site.
...it's worth the investment to you.
Now don't get me wrong, you don't want them so darn professional that they don't look like you, or misrepresent you, but a professional photo shoot can show you at your best, with good lighting, contrast etc.
To me simple pictures that show what you look like are what I want. I dislike the extremely professional pictures that look like they were perfectly lit and posed.
I like the simple shots that show the person, and her body, but I know they are real, and not overly modified. To me if I see too professional shots, I think she is too good to be true.
Real photos from your digi would seem to be a more honest representation of you.
I hate the OBVIOUSLY highly air brushed pics. The closer to hnest the better-less disapointment when you finally meet.
I tend to see the ladies in that sort of airbrushed glowing light, in real life. So, when I actually meet her, she looks just like she does in her pics.![]()
What a complete fantasy.I envy it.
your attitude will come across in pictures, as well. Please, please, if you choose to show your face, smile. I see a lot of ladies' galleries where she seems to be going for that "sexy" look, but in reality, she looks like she is in pain, and that could be the case from all the posing. I think simple is better, and makes the lady look more real.
Especially for the GFE ladies, seeing them with a natural smile (even if the rest of the face is blurred) is a real attractor. The Maxim and Euro 'pouty' look lends itself more to PSE. I usually skip past the 'pained' look pics, and also the ones taken from weird angles. One problem with going with some of the professional photographers is they always seem to want to take something 'different' and 'artsy', and often the girl isn't, IMO, shown in her best light.
Ladies, there is a reason many of us make comments like 'she looked much better in person'. Often it is not that the pixel/detail quality of the pic is an issue, but rather, the pose the professional photog had you in wasn't the best at highlighting your beauty for the context (hobby potential) we are viewing it for. A good picture offers the notion of 'possibility'; of having the man allow his imagination to see the two of you together. There can be a certain 'distance' conveyed in pro pics that you may not realize is being presented. Having a few more 'candid' or non-pro pics mixed in as well can widen the visual appeal audience. ![]()
The professional pictures will show the lady in the best possible way, i.e. lighting, skin tone, pose, etc.
However, sometimes the digital "photoshopping" can be so drastic it takes away from the natural look of the lady.
I saw a professional picture the other day that had been touched up so much her navel had been almost totally airbrushed (or computer brushed) out. When I see something like that, it sends the wrong message to me.
I don't necessarily agree that professionally taken photos are always the best way to go or a better draw for business than self taken digi's. The difference you will find will be in the eye of the person looking through the lens and pressing the shutter button.
I don't know how many times I have viewed a providers photos professional or otherwise and thought to myself "Oooo, should have left that one out" or " C'mon What was she thinking".
A professionally taken photo can be appealing to the eye yet a well done amateur taken photo can be equally exciting. If I had to choose I would prefer my date to arrive and think to myself, She is actually better looking than her photos. It would certainly be a disappointment to happen in the opposite after selecting her from a doctored, professionally done portrait.
Have you ever viewed a providers photo and thought to yourself, "she is not exactly what I am looking for" only to find other photos of her elsewhere and say " Wow, she IS a hottie."
Over the years I have chosen my dates with only those that supply reasonable photos whether amateur or professional and for the most part only those that include an unblurred face shot.
Good luck in whichever direction that you choose.
I had a similar question and was directed toward this thread. I'm still a bit baffled as to what is wanted. I want to have some professional photos taken and may mix those in with what I already have. One thing I do know- I need to move the laundry basket out from behind me in the shot.
Also, don't believe in photo-shopping. I don't know how to do it- plus, it just wouldn't be worth it to see the look of disappointment on the client's face. Would luv to see your photos, luv. I'm sure they will make me lower my head in shame. I bet they are gorgeous.
