Been a member for a couple of years. I've seen only two providers and had a good time with both. However I didn't leave reviews for either of them and this is my first post so my account doesn't have much activity. I've been looking again recently and haven't gotten responses to any of my PMs. And I've sent about 4 or 5. Any idea why?
My only theory is, there was a provider I exchanged PMs with before this started and ended up not responding to her last one because she was insulted I didn't see her profile update on a different site. She got pissed off about it even though I wasn't rude, I just didn't see she wasn't available, and now I feel like she blacklisted me somehow. Is that even possible?
say "send private message to schedule" or "email for an appt" or "provide screening info upon initial contact, via email" (^^^thats usually the case with me...lots of useless pm's/emails)
Be mindful that the ability to follow insrtuctions, or lack thereof, is imperative and part of the screening process. It's a huge indicator. Whether it be by acciden or intentional
Yes, the last one said email for appointment. So I emailed her yahoo account from my gmail account. She asked for a TER PM to help with verification, then no response?
She probably saw you had no reviews or whitelists so considered you too risky. Without those a TER handle is meaningless. Anyone (LE or a suspicious wife) can get a TER handle.
Providers may be very apprehensive to book nonetheless communicate with a gentleman who has been a ter member for two years with no reviews nor board presence. Participating on boards is a great way to let your personality shine through especially considering how else would you do that? Hobbyist don't have websites
I encourage hobbyist to write reviews. Whether they consider themselves a hobbyists or not or really don't want to share that "special" moment. Why not let your donation work for you by establishing your board presence and building your referrals/whitelist. Personally, I don't think you are or have been blacklisted per sae. I think a provider would be more comfortable or willing to respond to someone who is established.
It won't tell you that when you send a message, but that might be the case. Many providers on TER have a "profile" but that does not mean they have a membership or VIP. If you never create an account, you can have a ton of reviews, and no way to communicate.
Did you include ANYTHING in your initial email that WOULD validate you? If no, stfu and follow directions. If so, how many emails/pm's did it take to accomplish this? Too many? If so, she said fuk it...next.
Thanks everyone. Great tips. We ended up booking for tomorrow so it's all good. I guess she didn't get the PMs until a day or two later. Not sure why that happened but I'll be sure to leave a review this time either way just to get the rep going.
