I am wondering how many of you like to have music playing during a session?  If so, what's your preferred music type?  As a provider should I ask or is it what turns me on?  I think it can set the mood but it could also be distracting.

less important to me than the volume of the music. Don't want the music to be so loud than its a distraction. Take into account the age of your date when choosing the selection. Old guy isn't going to want to hear Lil Wayne and young guy probably could do without Elvis, etc. Also I would try and avoid extreme types of music, metal, country, and rap all have specific fans. Other than that I like a little something in the background, if for no other reason its an easy topic to discuss during down time. Also love it when a lady asks my preferences before a date and then has something to my liking already playing. Have a feeling you'll get a wide variety of answers on this one so ultimitely its up to you.

......I always ask my gentlemen in advance, what they enjoy drinking (no Louis XIII- I do well, but...), and what music they enjoy listening to.

I keep the volume level low enough to enjoy a conversation.  I do not, however, play music in the bedroom, unless a gentleman asks.

Hugs and Kisses,
Kelly

My suggestion would be to pick something "middle of the road." Heavy metal or hard core hip hop would be excessive, imo, lol. Newer, softer vocalists proly a good way to go. Adele, Joss Stone, Michael Buble, Norah Jones come to mind.

I think its distracting if its too loud. It should be background type stuff. But I dont think most guys will care either way. Best to you Krystal.

I have one regular provider who always has soft R&B playing and I LOVE it, just perfect for the intimacy that she provides.  Have another regular provider who always has the TV on as background noise but I am always so ready to ravage her when she visits that I don't give a crap....

Bottom line is that I prefer the provider choose the music that she prefers, I already know that I am in the mood for great sex when I get there.  It is the provider who has to get herself in the mood to provide that experience and anything that helps is a good thing

Music is a nice touch.  It should not be too loud as to be distracting, but what is loud is a matter of preference for many as well.  I would certainly want it to be something that would turn you on ;)  My musical tastes are pretty varied, but some are not, so it is not a bad thing to discuss, and maybe have more than one playlist to select from.

Generally soft pop vocals or instrumentals work well for me. There are some artists like Adele, Alicia Keyes turn me on.

Good of you to ask!  OK, firt off NO tv unless porn...  and I'd rather experience my own scene than someone elses.
I like soft background music...  low to moderate volume.  Tunes should not be something where my brain tries to follow the words...  my brain needs to be into what I'm doing.  I think it's cool if a provider has a variety of music sets to choose from.

and ask the guy what he prefers. Everyones taste is different obviously (and you can see that in answers to this thread) Many ladies actually have a soundtrack that is exaclty one hour, or two hours etc, and that is how they tell the time without looking at a clock. They know by what is playing, how much time is left, and when to start wrapping it up. You could set up a few one hour playlists of differetn things you like, then ask the guy what he prefers and start it at the beginning of the session. Serves to purposes. Background music and your timer.

For me personally I dont care if there is background music or not. If there is, I dont want it to be hip hop or rap, or elevator music. Most other stuff in between is fine from country to reggae, to rock, pop or jazz (but not elevator jazz lol). Also as many other replies have said, I dont want it too loud.

good luck

I prob fall into the old folks category since I love 80's rock, or back then it was metal lol

Metallica, Ac/Dc, White Zombie, Flotsam and Jetsam, Scorpions, Motley Crue, lol etc

Hey if you have never cum to Star Wars theme, your missing out!!! lmao
