Ok, now for a stupid newbie question...Other than having a web site that says backpage in  it, is there a way to know if a provider is in this category, and that I should stay clear for now?  When/how do you know when she has moved out of this category?  Is no website a clue? What   about BP ladies that heve one (or should it be more) favorable reviews on this site?  And lastly, (prob will get flamed for this one)- Are any other review sites  reputable?

When I lived in SAC, I advertised my fbsm services on BP and I did really good from it, I met very nice, and respectable guys...

guess the word "type" was a bad choice- no offense meant. Just several of the more experienced hobbyists reccommend that newbies stay away from BP girls, at least at first. Maybe I interpretted their posts wrong, but got the impression that was a higher chance of unproffessional business practices, and that newbies would not know how to deal with the situation. I started on BP because I didn't know anything else. As I started to learn more and more places to advertise, I did. I have ALWAYS had a website and I actually have 2 now. I have always treated my clients the best way I can and I don't think advertising on BP means that she is a type of anything. Even a year after I started doing this, and after a year learning the different sites that were available, I still get over 60% of my new clients from BP. I don't like them because they steal from us by way of taking money for an ad ($31.95) and then they don't even post it. I know they are a rip off, but when most of my new business comes from there because guys like the ease and consistency from city to city, it's where I am going to continue to advertise as well as all the other sites that allow providers to advertise.

I think they are just like any other site that girls can advertise on (not this site)  

You do not truly know what or who you are gonna get with out reviews.  I do know you might be able to search a girl's phone from BP on TER or one similar and see if she has been reviewed?  

I do think the majority of the girls on BP do indeed act unprofessional, rip guys off, upsell, rush them, etc...  
I think they do this because they know most of the guys who are on back page have no clue about reviews, review sites, etc... so they figure they are easy targets and wont say shit....

But there are good women on there, the best way is search their name, or phone # or email if they have it and try to see if they are reviewed..

...detecting the rip-offs etc. BP ladies are less likely to have reviews. However as many here have said wherever you find out about the provider come here (TER) to check her out. See her if she has many good reviews and she is reviewed by several guys that have reviewed many providers. This way you know as much as is possible she is legit. Make sure you have a VIP membership so you can read the juicy details of her reviews. Then you'll know she offers what you want

Simply copy the image url (right click) on the BP ad, then paste it into Tineye.  God I want to flowchart this so bad it is killing me....damn you academia and corporate America!  Fuckers made me anal....

Any way.....do the Tineye results show that she is providing in both Sacramento, CA and Boston, MA today?  She is using stolen pictures.  Do the results lead to ads for multiple women with different phone numbers?  She is using stolen pictures.  You get the idea.

Did you actually find her on TER when you popped her phone number into the search?  It does happen.  If so, PM the guy/guys who have reviewed her and ask if they have anything to add.  A lot more gets communicated by back channel than through the reviews (2nd time I mention this in three days, maybe my theme for newbies this week...).

I have myself been seeking some new experiences and have decided I like the idea of helping some new providers get reviewed by experienced TER members.  It has been a very slow, gradual process as I rarely see new to me providers anyway, my regular providers just have me spoiled as hell and it is hard to imagine a new, young provider coming close to the experience.  But nonetheless.....one thing I have done a few times lately is kind of a "reverse BP search" by going to "reviews - new reviews" on TER and searching my area.  I then look at the providers with less than 10 reviews to see what they are about.  Chances are you are looking at someone still breaking into the business, but now you know that she is legit

What matters is her reviews (numerous by reviewers who do many reviews) and what is contained in those reviews. Don't see girls that have barely any reviews/no reviews unless you are ok with TOFTT and possibly losing money. Just not a good idea. Really DON'T do that !!!

My suggestion to you, search through your areas reviews (on TER) and go from there. Very time consuming to go to every BP ad and cross reference TER to see if she has reviews. Just helps in eliminating a step.  

Many people use BP (gals and guys) BUT still make sure to properly screen and check reviews etc.  

As far as review sites (of which we can not name on here)... TER is better IMHO. Some of those sites (not all but some) have a lot of fake reviews. Stick with TER and you will have better experiences overall.

I've seen Gals that use several.  Every ad site can have ripoffs & scammers...  and also great reliable providers.  One needs to see the reviews & other research.  I start with TER & follow the links back to ads, not the other way around.
