I'm not a virgin, but I'm new here, and I've never participated in this 'hobby' before.

There has been one huge question on my mind for the many months now that I have longed to make "first contact" with any of a number of sweet beautiful young providers I've seen on CL ad w/e, ... and this is embarrassing so please be gentle....

Ok, so the problem is that I'm a heavy guy: 6' and 350#; much more flab than muscle.  I know some drugged out skank isn't going to care and I'd probably be much less nasty than some of their usual clientèle, but what about the really adorable ones ... especially the ones who say they only cater to "clean well-groomed" gentlemen?  

Is being terribly out of shape considered not being clean or well-groomed?  I mean, it's not like I'm one of those people who has become stuck to the bed they haven't been able to get out of in 3 years.  I shower at least once a day, often more.  I brush my teeth at least as often.  As far as grooming, I'm about average ... neither a fanatic nor a slob.  I have an office job and although dress is on the casual side, it's not a hog farm nor a septic plant, you know?

But in all seriousness, how much does the guy being unattractive matter, especially to the younger skinnier more quiet and gentle GFE type providers I would tend to prefer?

Just tell them in advance. I've seen five girls and told each in my first contact  that I was fat, pale, and hairy. They didn't care.

I agree there are plenty of providers in your type range that will see you for you . Don’t spring it on them some girls will care and those are definitely the ones you want to avoid as you’ll not have a good time.

As long as you are clean and well groomed and well mannerd, most providers, including moi, won't have an issue.

There will always be the provider though that insists that you be Mr. GQ if you want to see her. Just do your homework and I'm sure you'll find a wonderful provider.

When I started seeing girls many years ago I was an inch shorter than you and about 370.  It was never an issue other than the fact that you have to be realistic about some positions just not being possible.  

What IS important is hygiene. Fat guys sweat. Be prepared to take a shower when you arrive at her in call regardless of how long it's been since your last one.  Obviously you want to brush your teeth as well.  Be polite and respectful of the lady and her time.

The ladies deal with us big old teddy bears all the time and a truly great lady will show you a great time regardless of how you are built.  I've lost some weight but my ATF is a foot shorter than me and weighs about 100 pounds...I'm sure we look hysterical in the mirror  but who really cares?  This hobby is about having a good time.  Your attitude is much more important than what you look like.

green, you shouldn't have any problems.  You should let the lady know about your size just in case she has a concern.

However, you may want to change your attitude a little about providers in general because although the vast majority won't care about your weight, the ladies prevalent on TER also won't put up with a misogynistic attitude. The "drugged out skank isn't going to care and I'd probably be much less nasty than some of their usual clientele" line suggests that you may have a very skewed view of providers in general.  

Unless you are cruising the streets, or the very, very bottom of the CL food chain, you will not come across the "drugged out skanks" that you envision. Most likely, instead, you will come a Bait and Switch or ROB before the old crack whores of yesteryear.  

The best way as a Newbie to avoid those kinds of issues is to only see well reviewed providers, which means providers with at least ten reviews by reviewers with multiple reviews to their credit.  Get the VIP membership so that you can see all of the information needed for an informed choice.

I'm sorry I used that expression.  I actually thought twice about it, but never dreamed anyone would take my meaning quite like that.  I wasn't referring to cartoonlike exaggerated stereotypes, but I guess the "very very bottom of the CL food chain" whom I've seen advertise there, albeit a small subset of the overall number of providers.

If you are going to become active on your regional board, which I HIGHLY suggest, you should know that there is a rule about using two different handles in a thread.  This is the Newbie board, and Jazz, the moderator is rightfully lenient on Newbies posting against the rules, but your local Moderator may not be.  If you start with an alias (or conversely with your real username), you shouldn't switch back and forth or you may find yourself in trouble.  The rules are in the Newbie links at the top of the page.

Your open and honest thats not being pathetic babe thats being truthful, as long as your showered, your hair is washed and you don't have a body ordor problem to most of the young girls here it doesn't matter at all..the only thing that matters is that you put their correct amount in the envelope and maybe a tip if the service you recieved was exceptional.

You shouldn't worry about your weight because lord knows I am not 5'0" and weigh 100 pounds.

I have friends who aren't the "Brad Pitt" or "Pierce Bronsan" types but are utterly wonderful to me.

I know its not all about money but I agree with everyone else who posted about the whole "hygiene" issue.

Just make sure that you are cleaned, relaxed and ready to play with the gorgeous woman of your choice that really enjoys what she does for a living...

I am one of the rarest providers' in the business...I am 5'7", in my late 20's, 135 lbs, Hawaiian and Panamanian with triple D breasts.

If I only sought after friends who were "Rob Lowe" or "LL Cool J" types, I would of been sitting on the side of the road with a styrofoam cup asking for your change.

The bottom line is seek out providers that are open to all walks of life...

If you reach out to a provider then she's icy or cold because you don't have abs of steel or Hugh Jackman's ass - may I ask you is this someone that's worth withdrawing funds from your local bank or ATM for?

I would hope not...Embrace your size and find a lady that doesn't break your gonads or make you feel bad about being a gentleman who's not in a  size 38 (jeans/pants) or lower club.

LadyJayLa is exactly right, your question is nowhere close to being pathetic.  You showed concern for providers and were honest about your situation.

The ladies you will find here appreciate honesty from us, and like was said already, a clean guy that has the necessary green in the white envelope.

Do your research properly and you should have any problems, but you can always ask in this forum when you can't find out what you need to know.
