I am very new to this. Actually havent done this at all.  I saw a review for a girl who I would love to have some time with but I am not sure what these girls expect for an hourly rate and I dont want to get in over my head.  

So I was wondering what is the average hourly rates of these types of services?  Im sure that this has been answered a million times before but I couldnt find anything when I did a search. If there is already a thread please point me in the right direction and you can close this.

Also when do you normally discuss the rate? On the phone or in person?  Thanks in advance.

The vast majority of the time the donation is clearly stated on the person's web site.  It can be seen on a ladies' profile page.  If you haven't already done so, buy a VIP membership.  Worth the money.

Impossible question to answer!!!  Way too many variable - location / market, age, physique, services offered - and actually rendered, etc.

Your best bet is to buy a monthly VIP membership for $20 - you can immediately cancel so you won't be billed again, but still have access to the data for the month.  This will allow you to see the rates and get more specific data.

Now as for discussing rates - DON'T, particularly on the phone - she'll immediately suspect that you are a cop.  At most, I only ask if the rate I saw on her site, eros, craig's list,etc, is current, and this I would only ask on the 2nd call to verify the appointment.  Most ladies provide complete fee information, and don't want to dicker over it.

There are bunch of undocumented protocols to be followed.  Read the General Info section of the review, sometimes they provide good suggestions on how to handle intial contact and getting in the door.  You might also want to lurk, read only, some of the regional boards.  By reading some of the more active ones, you will find out exactly what is, and is not done.

do NOT try to negotiate.  These ladies are just that, ladies.  Please do not insult them.

Full Service generally starts out at 200 or over depending where you lives. Major cities.. 300 or over.

I am also a newbie, ready to try this scene out for the first time soon, and this thread is incrediby helpful to me.  But...is the advertised rate really the total amount expected from the women, or do they expect a tip as well.  Or, will a woman from an agency expect more than what is actually listed on the web site.

You came to the right place when getting started in the hobby. The suggestion about VIP membership is good, try it for a month. As someone pointed out, rates vary by region and by lady. Focus on seeing some of the better ladies whose rates meet your budget requirements.
One final point. The hobby can be addictive if you let it become that way and can damage or ruin your life. Make every effort to make hobbying a tool to enhance your life, avoid going overboard and doing weird stuff. Remember that family come first. Good luck.

Use a well reviewed provider to be sure that no tip is expected.  You really want to avoid the upsell problem.
