I am in the process of trying to get everything removed.  The situation resulting was created by a client who did not clear his phone out and his wife is stalking me ugh.

The problem is that when searching by my old phone # my ad appears on sites that I did not create nor can I manage.  Do I need to contact an attorney?

I should be clear...she is no longer stalking me as I have gotten rid of the phone.  She does not know where I do my incall as  I use different hotels.  I just want to find a way to remove the Internet information related to my old phone number.  I have asked Ter to remove my account

Sites steal our information and use them for fill ins to make it look like their sites have business, when they don't have squat. You try to get your info. removed and no one responds. See if you can find the site owners by doing a whois.com search, and there is also the way back machine that will show when the site was created and a template of how it looked back then.

Again, your post reiterates that providers are not always the ones who lack common sense when it comes to information.

Wonder if she'd get lost, if you told her you were gonna out her hubby for seeing escorts(not a very flattering revelation when the P.T.A. gets wind of it).  I'm not encouraging such behavior, just thinking out loud.

Aaaaaaaand, what kind of man allows someone else to be a victim, due to his escapades and carelessness?  I'll never understand cowards or vengeance.

Sorry your Client got you in this Mess. This proves that Married Guys will eventually get caught doing this. Since I'm not Married, I got nothing to worry about.

- it's forever :-(

Follow London's advice as far as tracking down those pain in the ass websites, but it's a crapshoot; and just about everything related to you that's ever been posted will probably stay there until you are just a happy memory :-)

Good luck.

It is next to impossible to remove
this information from the Internet on your own
but I have decided it will be gone.  I may have to
write a "how to manual" I have done hours of research on
who is and way back, etc. Nothing. I pretty determined
to have this erased.  I see a class action suit looming in
the future....or not

Im under the impression once you put up an ad its with in their rights to drag your ad its considered public info and you no longer have a say in where it goes.
most sites with a lil push will remove your info but some it can be a real fight.

good luck

Usually, that lets them know you mean business if you're willing to put your real name on a legal document, but on the other hand, they now have your real name admitting that you were in fact said escort. If your face is not out there, I would just let it die down vs. making things possibly worse. If this woman found you, she can find you again but your best bet might be to get a restraining order against her for a personal matter. You don't have to say shit about her stalking your escort persona. You can just say she "thinks" you are said escort and won't leave you alone. Tell them you used to screen for that escort and the woman thinks you are her. So many variations that could work.

revolves around an illegal activity, I don't think an attorney can do much for you.  The biggest problem with the internet is that once the information is on there, it's virtually impossible to get everything erased.  Oftentimes, sites will copy your information from other sites, this happens to providers all the time.  Their ads appear on sites that they have never visited.

It's too bad for you that an unthinking client put you in an unfortunate situation, but that sort of thing is quite common.  It's usually unintentional, but the damage gets done nonetheless.

and start with a new name...  then you should contact TER through the contact us link.  Providers who start with a new name are often discovered & the old & new name linked & reviews carried over.  If you were outted & stalked then I think there's a procedure to protect you on TER.

As far as removing the links to your old ads...  stolen or otherwise...  there is something to be said for linking from an image host so you can delete the image & leave a broken link.  The ads link to a dead phone...  pitty the grandma who gets your recycled number down the road.  Ads that expire are a pita but have their uses.
