I am not clear on who monitors the boards.  When you post their use to be a long delay for the post to showup.  Just recently it is down to 15 minutes, which I like better.  Are the posts reviewed first? Who does it, the staff or regular users of the board?  Is the PM, private like an email or are they moderated?  Just trying to understand more fully how the board works.

I read that, but I didn't see anything about some of the questions I had.  I will read it again to see if I miss something.

I'm sure moderation only applies to posting.  PMs are not moderated but you & recipient must have VIP.

Sorry about that, you did ask several questions. The Moderator of each board is listed at the top of the page. He was reviewing and approving all moderated posts, with the new Staff msg. I am not really sure, but it certainly is not done by regular posters on the board.  To clear up any confusion you may have, many who have been members for awhile are not moderated, which means our posts go up instantly without waiting for anyone to approve.

Pm's are private msgs., like email and are not moderated. I think you have to have VIP to use it, however.

I am glad for the information.  I think the authority to view PMs is different than the old "moderated" posting process which is what I think the OP was refering to.
With the new software, perhaps the PMs would be screened for spam abuse?
