after you have put up a bunch of posts, ask your regional moderator to un-moderate you.  Then your posts will not have to be approved.

Please don't ask me to un-moderate you, I will only refer you to your regional moderator.

I was asked by a member who is not moderated, why I would not moderate someone who posts on this board.  Main reason is that I do not know your posting history as I don't follow all the regional boards.  Many of you post your questions here, get your answers, and move on without further posts on the newbie board.

It is my thought that the regional moderators will have a better handle on whether or not someone is following the posting rules than I would.  Asking one or two questions on this board is not enough info for me to lift moderation.  Because of that, IMHO, they would be a better judge of whether or not to take someone off moderation than I would be.

Hope this clears up my position on moderation.
