In light of reading the post about the agencies posted below, it begged me to ask this question. How does a new hobbyist go about getting references if he can't get an appt. without one? I'm not neccessarily(did I spell that right) new to the hobby, but it has been several years since I posted a review. I'm wondering because I see models I would want to visit with, but surely don't have the references they seek. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Join P411.  It verifies clients and providers, and a number of them are "newbie friendly."  That should get you started. P411 for example has a system of "okays".  Once you have seen a provider who lists with P411 (it's free for them about $100 for you), you can ask for them to give you an okay, and those will help speed your vouches from providers along with verification it provides.

1 find a newbie friendly girl and see her.  Ask for an ok on P411 after.
2 find another newbie or +1 girl, see her and get reference.
You now have 2 references and should be good to go.  I did this and am +3.

Or do the same with TER ladies and get whitelisted.

Bottom line you may have to see 1 or 2 ladies you would not normally want to see to get references (1 in my case)

Just kidding. Playing off inicky's post below to give out bogus info to newbies in the absense of swimtrekr.

Actually the advice you got above about joining p411 is good. There are also ladies who screen in other ways, such as verifying your work information. You are not a true newbie as you have reviews from a while back. You can always contact the ladies and tell them you haven't hobbied in a while so you have no current references, and ask if there is another way to verify you. It can't hurt. The worse they will say is no. You have to figure out what they want, and how much you are willing to give, (as far as personal info), if you don't have references. Again P411 may be your best bet, but not the only option.

if you can find a favorable provider who offers a meet & greet. She will meet you in a public area, where you can visit. Add 30-60 minutes to your "session" because without references this may be your best option. And please take the advice given- get verified with a service, it makes things smoother for you and your provider.

I really appreciate the responses. All the information has been very helpful. I will be using the methods you all gave me in moving forward, all seem to be reasonable. I'm just trying to make sure I proceed forward in the correct manner and dealing with reputable providers and make the process as easy as possible. Thanks again everyone!
