I've had my eye on a few providers I'd like to see. They all request phone calls, no texting and don't provide an email address. I've called them repeatedly, a few times a day over the course of a week. In some cases an hour or two after they posted on BP. I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong. The providers I have seen pick up with my first call to them.

Many but not all BP girls are high volume and stay busy. They seldom call anybody back. Soon as they finish they take the next call coming in. It's kind of like winning a radio contest where they just have to pick up on your call. But like I say not all BP girls are like that I just think the one you are calling is. But even if they do pick up on your call many times by the time you get to their hotel they won't answer for you to get the room number because somebody else was closer and made it before you. I would just move on and pick another as she will probably be more trouble than she is worth.

Don't let her inability to answer stop you from achieving your goal.

...If you call a hardware store and they don't answer the phone, you'll take your business to another hardware store.  Same with providers, take your business elsewhere.  Don't get hung up because you have "your eye on a few."  The carousel will go around and better ones will come along who actually answer the phone.

Have you left a message with any of them? Or do you just keep calling repeatedly, without ever leaving a message? And just because an ad just went up, does not mean a lady has just posted it. On BP. there is the option to have your ad re-posted for a week, 2 weeks, or a month, & everyday at the same time, the ad will be automatically re-posted. I am guessing though since these ladies do not have e-mail or a website, they do not have reviews here?

That's actually my feeling too. Yet, I liked the reviews I read on her here at TER and she's also very close by. I do just move on, but I still do find it very odd to run a business where you don't answer your phone to set up appointments.

Sound advice to leave a message. I don't have a problem with providers calling me at all.

Yet, I never realized that BP ads auto-repost.

But if he's not leaving a message, then for a lady to call back unwarranted would also be considered bad business. The ONLY time I will ever return a call is if someone leaves a message. In fact, I rarely answer me phone, but it also states in all my ads/website that I prefer e-mail/text contact. If someone does not leave a message, they do not get a return call.

It's one thing to be busy and then get back to someone within 1 business day, it's another thing to totally disregard a call, never pick up and never return the phone call. This is unprofessional and unacceptable if you are actually working the business.

Personally as a provider, I provide phone and email because potential clients like to contact in different ways and I think it's a great way to build a good rapport on both ends. Clients need to feel comfortable too and I think some providers forget that and lose out on quality clients who are looking for quality providers.

If you leave a VM or email, introduce yourself, keep it light, offer the best way to contact you and even a day and time you have in mind if you are serious about meeting. If you have references, let them know that in the VM or email, this way the provider knows she is not dealing with a newbie (not that there is anything wrong with newbies) but it's just extra info you can offer up front that will get the ball rolling quicker.

If they don't get back to you within 2 business days, they are not worth your time and money! Next!

Yours truly,

Adriana~

...the phone because they don't need to.  They're like the athlete who has one good year or the one-hit wonder rock star.  They don't realize the gravy train could end at any time.  They don't change their spending habits and invariably wind up broke.
