Hi!!

I've been a independent provider since late October and although I've done my research before diving in, no one can ever know the answer to everything and new questions arise everyday.

So my question is:
-Should I seek for a more experienced provider as a mentor?
-Should the more experienced provider be local or would that be a "no-no" since someone could see it as competition?

I used the search function but some replies seemed conflicting.

Thank you =)

It would be good for you to find a mentor in your city as questions about hotels/locations/advertising may arise that a provider in another state may not be able to answer.  Though some women may feel differently, most of us have the opinion that we aren't in competition with each other as we all have different looks and personalities and offer different services AND men love variety as well so there are plenty of clients out there for all of us :)  Just be careful who you ask for help, and don't give any personal information out until you have known her for a while.

Since you're in Atlanta, I recommend you get in touch with Teri Lynn. She's a doll.

Some I kept out of jail, others from being ripped off, and others went from 150 backpage providers to Elite 500 plus companions, without having to be 20 years old or 110 lbs. Depending on what you want to accomplish (your brand) will determine the type of provider you would want as a mentor/example. Not all providers screen and market themselves the same, so be very careful please. Many handing out advice are still making crucial mistakes that no provider should be making.

I can vouch for Terri and Taylor... both in ATL, but Taylor has fallen off the map for a while. Meena Valero is also a top provider and a true sweetheart who knows what she is doing.

Thank you guys soo much for your answers =)

that some of the girls will help each other out.  From what I've heard, from some girls in my area, the sacred cows around here don't like a new young heifer in their pasture. I'm sure there are exceptions but I've heard it a lot. One girl recently told me she was run out of town by the older women in her area.

I have a great mentor and she is extremely helpful. I actually have known her before becoming an escort, so I'm pretty comfortable with her

there is less likelihood that a provider would consider you as a competitor.  If you live in a smaller city with few providers, then you could be considered her competition.

Also depends on your looks.  If you are extremely attractive, then you might be perceived as a threat to business.

Good luck.
