Am I signed up as a client or as a provider/companion? Not sure if I did it right. Also people keep trying to write me reviews because I am a provider, but they are not going through like not getting approved. Why not? I also paid 250 for the yearly membership VIP and it’s telling me that I can’t write reviews. Why?
When you register / create a new account, there is only one "Basic Membership" for everybody: M or F; Provider or Client. . Your "role" is established to others by your posts to the Boards or by having a Profile, submitted Reviews, or both. - Once someone has a Profile, it will be clear to others that they are a Provider. (MOST Providers are F; some are TS; I guess that there a few M Providers but I can't think of any.) - Once someone has published Reviews, it will be clear to others that they are clients. Most clients are M, but some are F. - Some undesignated Newbies will post to the boards, "I'm trying to meet a Provider and I sent her an e-mail ..." and we will surmise that the Newbie is a wannabe client (usually M), NOT a Provider. - Your post says, "write me reviews because I am a provider." Well, now we know! But your account status doesn't change - it stays neutral. . NEW reviews by NEW reviewers for a NEW Provider can sometimes take a while to be approved, sometimes waiting for authentication by a member with a history of reliable reviews. I forget the labels, but there is difference between "submitted and still pending" and "rejected." Even if rejected, the submitter can ask for an explanation. It might be something really simple, e.g., inclusion of a link to a currently active ad. (Your Buzz Board post includes a link to your active Tryst ad; your reviewers' review form should include that link.) . ANYONE, Basic or VIP, can write and submit Reviews but you can't review yourself! Other Providers have mentioned that they occasionally enjoy the company of another Provider and will become a client. They can write a review of their client experience with that Provider so they will have a Profile AND Reviews of other Providers. And there are a few F members of TER who are NOT Providers who pay for the company of F Providers and write reviews.
