Am I missing something? I search reviews by the provider's name, and get good hits. Sometimes, too many, though: lots of ladies named "Courtney" or "Nikki" or "Summer," etc. I can't tell which is the one whose ad I saw on BP. So, I try putting in the phone number instead. I always get a "No results found" message.
First, put in area code (requires only 3 numbers), then put in full number (requires only 7 numbers), then chose country, then chose city. Some providers do not have reviews, so that may be your issue. If they do have reviews, then you should be able to narrow your search to one specific profile. You can always try to google her number. Ask the moderator, he should be able to help you further your research.
First guess: The Courtney's, Nikki's that you DO find by name are NOT the ones in the BP ads you're looking at. When you enter the BP phone number and get "No results" it means that the BP Courtney or BP Nikki you're looking at does NOT have any reviews or a Profile. Not all that surprising and a good idea to hold off until she is reviewed (or fades away).
Why not do it the other way: Instead of browsing BP ads and then searching TER, use the TER "search" to find someone of interest to you and THEN check her ad. Or even just work your through New Reviews without pruning the search.
I assume you've eliminated the possibility that these providers simply don't have reviews. And you're using the Search Reviews (Advanced Search) form, not trying to enter phone numbers into Quick Search, right?
Are you sure the number is formatted correctly? TER's search ignores extra spaces, symbols and letters, but if you're copying the number from an ad with substitute letters or spelled out numbers, it won't fly. After you've clicked 'Search', hit the back button and check to see that there are 10 numerals in the box.
Also, be sure you haven't left info in any of the other fields that would limit the search, e.g., City or Provider's Name. To make sure, click the 'Clear' button at the bottom of the page before entering the phone number. (The 'Clear' near the top only clears the fields above that.)
I suspect it's that most don't have any TER reviews, as several have said. Yes, I've used the advanced search, butI also may need to check how I've entered the phone numbers. And, yes, I've reversed the process in many cases--checked TER first. But, something keeps luring me back to BP! I've never seen anyone "cold" from BP. I've always cross-checked for their reviews. So, that brings me back to the first point: probably a lot of these ladies don't have TER reviews.
I'm not experienced enough in the hobby--nor do I have unlimited funds!--to just TOFTT out of the blue. I'll have to leave that to others.
In the advanced review, not any specific city. Phone number format should not be an issue as it strips all characters except the numbers, but you do need to put in all ten numbers.
Oftentimes the first review can be under a different city than the one the provider is in now. I only search by name if I am pretty sure the provider has reviews and the phone number and email searches do not work.
Of course a lot of providers do not have any reviews, but there also are a lot of phone numbers that have long histories - many, many girls have used them. Since most of them seem to be rip offs, that is also good to know.
The only way I search is to put "all cities" and then only the last 7 digits. This was recommended to my by someone on this board. If nothing comes up then they are not reveiwed here. I usually just move on unless she has posted a lot and I have had my eye on her. But I have been happy with the results searching with just the 7 digits. It filters out a lot right off the bat.

I never thought to try that. I have found that leaving digits off the end still works. It just finds every provider whose phone number begins the same. It even works for just one digit. Try it by taking one numeral off at a time and watch as the number of hits rises exponentially. Next best thing to getting laid.
