It probably is a silly question, but it's not hard to find multiple "donation" amounts. Then you also throw in the providers that post specials also, lol, (wouldn't expect discount on special rates though) It can be confusing for us "newbies"!!
Ok, here's the scenerio.. Your doing your research by checking reviews and provider sites along with sites that your "verified" through ( such as RS2K, P411, Date-check) and you see that a provider offers a discount of so much off if your a member of a site they use. So you find Betty-Lou and her site says XXX.00 for an hour but your a member of whatever.com and so is she and she states on her page that there is XX.00 off for members. No good provider will discuss "rates" on phone or email or sometimes even in person, so whats the best way to handle this situation? Do you just assume and put the discounted amount in your envelope? Do you mention that your a member of whatever and ask for the discount? Don't want to offend anyone or maybe even be accused of trying to short change her. Whats the best way to go about this??
Theoretically, she should already be aware of your verification site membership prior to seeing her and the discount should not be an issue.
However, you can always print out a copy of her ad reflecting the discount, and if it becomes a question at session time you can produce it. I am not saying to put it in the envelope, but to keep it in a separate pocket and use it if needed.
If the provider is well established, you shouldn't have to worry about the issue at all.

Now if you ask virtually any provider how much she charges for GFE for an hour, expect to hear a dial tone. However, if there is any ambiguity about what rate you should expect, there is nothing wrong with asking "I am not totally sure about your rate, I am a _____ member, should I expect $xxx or $yyyy? if I plan on visiting with you for an hour" Only the most rigid of providers will have any problems answering your question worded in similar fashion.

I don't get it. Why would your wording make any difference? The gal would still be discussing her rates on the phone with the guy. I mean, if a fear of Uncle Leo being on the other end of the line is why providers don't discuss rates, then how is your wording any less incriminating?
The big no no is to put money and sex into the same conversation. At some point the provider has to convey to you how much she charges for "her time", if it's ambigiously worded on her website or if her specials and/or discounts are unclear, you need to find out how much she truly charges. The alternative is to guess, which can lead to misunderstadings.
I have been doing this for over thirty five years, and I have seen literally thousands of women in my life. I have never had a problem asking for rate ifformation, as long as sex, or sex acts are never mentioned. I might add, trying to use acronyms isn't going to fool anyone either. It is just as inappropriate to ask "How much is PSE?" as it is to ask "how much for a blow job?" Asking what the expected donation for an hour of her time is quite a different story.
Just remember it's "sex for money" that is illegal in this country, not "time for money"
I offer specials to P411 and D-C gents I specify on my ads on those sites what my specials are so there is no confusion. Most of the time the rate listed is her regular rate I would also cross-reference with her website to see if the rate is the same.If so and she is offering a discount however much would be taken off the regular rate.I would not ask for the discount if you contact her via those websites that specify a discount then she already knows a discount applies.I had a gent inquire on discount which was very clear on one of the sites that I was offering he said wasn't too clear to him but no one else had a problem figuring it out.I did not respond to that inquiry.
When I see specials, I still pay the full rate if it is my first time seeing them. The special rate just tells me I have no obligation to leave any tip. And if I see them again, Illl still not leave any tip since providers say the best tip is just to repeat.
