Maybe I can help

I have read the manual regarding posting and I have emailed TER with no response. I posted on the NY board yesterday and it was never posted. The post was within all the guidelines and my link to my website did not have any pop ups! I do not want to repost-just in case in comes up today--but not sure if it will! I posted it yesterday late afternoon. Any idea on the turn-around rate for a posting to actually post on the board?
HELP!

I removed the link to your website, and I'd guess that it had something to do with your post not being allowed.  To get a definitive answer, you should ask the moderator of the NY board.  There is a link at the top of each board that gets you to that board's mod.

Good luck, and hopefully you'll find this place to be a useful resource.

Your web site must have the TER logo / link back on the first or second page to be allowed.  As a new member you will be moderated, which means a moderator will review your posts before they appear.  It's a PITA, but necessary until newbies get the hang of things.  After a month or so & a few posts, you can request your local moderator to un-moderate you.
After you get your first review, you can contact TER to get your membership linked to your reviews which gets you free limited VIP.  (Use of the TER PM system, & ability to read your own complete reviews.
You can post an ad once every 7 days on your LOCAL (regional board).  Drop down menu to your left.  Besides ads, you can participate on not only your local board but also the other national boards.  Participation makes a big differance to guys feeling comfortable with you (in the absence of many reviews).
I hope this helps,
skb

when in doubt go to "my account" (or click on your name at the top of the page) and on the menu on the left side of the page click "my posts?"  when you click on that it will show all the posts you've made and if its "active", "new" (pending post) or "not allowed" - usually a reason is given.
