I found a well reviewed provider who understandably requires verification. Unfortunately I have no refs so attempted to join DateCheck.... but I cannot proceed because a phone call to my office is simply not possible. People at my level are not even given phones;there is no reason we would ever receive a call to our department. I am quite disappointed because there seems to be no solution.

...and I understand, and appreciate your dilemma, as many of my gentlemen friends do not have an office phone.  Many ladies, such as myself, have many options when it comes to verifying a gentleman's identity.

I faced the same problem and DC had no phone # to call to work things out.  But P411 did and offered me other alternatives for verification.  I joined there, got some OKs and I was off.

I'm in Phoenix... it's a good point that perhaps I can find another lady or two that offer alternative verification options, and build a reference list that way.

Gina and her staff will work with you to get you verified.   However, please be aware, some providers will want more than verification by P411.  They may still need a provider reference.  Also, on P411, providers can indicate on their profile if they are newbie friendly, look for those.
