I don't wear anything except some light cologne but most of the ladies who are naturally pretty wear so much make up that they look like dolls rather than humans lol.

Yes some do request makeup preferences.  One of my clients loves the smokey eye look. He was upfront and I appreciated it. Another prefers almost no makeup.  If you have a fetish like you mentioned that depends on makeup styles just let your lady know.  Most ladies will accommodate your request if possible.  We all want you guys to be over the moon happy!  Makeup is easy!  Let her know, otherwise she may think you like the heavy makeup.

I remarked how great it was to see her being so natural and she laughed and said she was wearing tons of makeup, but I couldn't tell.  It looked to me like she just had great skin.

Plus smearing your clothes with makeup is not a good idea.. My personal rules are:
No perfume, excellent hygiene
Light makeup
Classy clothing.

I dont wear perfume either, or sparkle  stuff. (I dont like / want these gentlemen walking out of the hotel with a "I just get laid look" or going home and get in trouble. Discretion for me is a must (from both parts).
I do wear make up but I dont think is too bad. I always ask if they want me to take my lip stick off, I have a no make up request (I do only have on my eyes and máscara) other times I had a request to wear exuxes dive make up

And simply ask her to go  for the natural look.
