Got a sample and prescription for Levitra from my doctor.  I'm sure I'm not the only one who does this, and would like to hear from others.  How soon before you see a provider do you normally take these meds?  I've done this before (Viagra) and just had awful side effects.  Dr thinks I may tolerate Levitra better.  He said although these drugs are all in the same family of drugs, some people tolerate some better than others.  Taking Levitra on an empty stomach gives fewer people side effects, he says. So it's just a matter of finding out what works. When I took the Viagra, it helped with the erection, but I also started coughing and having an extremely stuffy nose, which unfortunately lasted for several days.  Is an hour of pleasure worth days of being sick? - everyone can be the judge for themselves. The funny thing is that for two days after taking it, I'd wake up at night coughing and not being able to breathe through my nose, but having an impressive hard-on.  I'm sure I need to experiment with the medicines and see which works better.  Was wondering if others have done this and have anything to share.  Also, I think I'll take the first one when I'm alone to see how I get along with it.
