If one is a first-timer in the hobby, and may only partake in the hobby once or twice to fulfill a specific desire (race, fantasy, etc), and such a provider is not available in one's local area, what would the likely difficulty be of making arrangements with a provider in another city to either fly to them or have them fly to my city?
I realize that having them fly to me would require a time commitment (which I would not have a problem with). Although granted, a provider may not be comfortable flying to another city to meet a first-timer, properly screened or not.
So for providers (and others) here, what are my chances? :P

Many of the agencies and some independants will offer "fly me to your city" packages. That information will usually be listed on their websites. As a first-timer, prepare to be screened and if you have no references, you may be asked for some personal information. If you are uncomfortable with that, you may have to just hobby in your area for a while until you get references. The things one must do!
The best choice is for you to fly to her city if her city is a large one with much variety. Check reviews for the characteristics that you want then pick the best performing ones that meet your needs. Then fly there and meet a couple before you return home.
by doing TER research on whatever fantasy or fetish you have, and fly to NYC, Las Vegas, Or LA. Those cities have the most variety. While you're not getting wildly fucked, you can enjoy the city's sights. In those cities you can find a plethora of providers to meet your needs and you can book multiple ladies together or separately.
I aslo agree with Stilltryin. I've gone to Vegas a couple of times mainly to hobby and have had a great time.
I have done so many times. Always within driving distance. It is a lot cheaper than you flying to them or them coming to you.
Just look for someone to come to a city near you and go get them!
