Check your reviews by going to the top of the page and click on "My TER" then look to the left and click on "My Reviews". Your reviews will be listed there. Look to the right and under "status" it will say "new" which means they have not been approved yet. It will say "approved" when they are approved. It will say something other than New or Approved if there is a problem based on what the problem is.

I submitted two reviews a couple of days ago. How will I know when they are approved and do I need to do anything else to have my membership upgraded to VIP.

It will give you the status of your reviews. If they are your first, and I suspect they are, it may take a while. Some times Admin will hold reviews of a new provider until someone else posts a review of her. In regard to your membership, you do nothing, once the reviews are posted, admin will upgrade and credit you with the correct number of free VIP days.
Be patient, and keep checking your account manger.
... to access the information you want works when using the "Classic" version of TER. When using the classic version you click on Account manager at the top of the page and once there you will find a menu down the left side of the page. The Classic version link is classic.theeroticreview.com.
