Let me make it clear...

My repsonse to the last poster wasn't approved and his post got deleted. I do not have an STD, and if I did, I want to make it known that I would not be seeing providers if that were the case. I have respect and common decency for people. I was just curious and that is why I asked the question. I am sure there are guys out there who do have something like herpes, but they see providers anyway. I want to stress that this is NOT what I would do under any circumstances. My curiosity stemmed from the fact that providers are most likely at a much higher risk than others for contracting various STDs, then I wondered how common it was for clients to contract an STD from a provider, and in turn I wondered if a client had an STD, would he tell a provider? It was just me thinking. I'm new to this hobby and have only seen 4 providers and it seems to be safe so far. If I came across as bitter or rude, I apologize.

I'm not talking about HIV/AIDS of course as its a crime if you don't disclose that, but what about minor STDs like Herpes? I don't have any STDs but I was just wondering, like say you had Herpes and you were on medication and didn't have an outbreak should you even bother telling a provider that? I don't know what the proper ettiquite is, but I would think that its not something you would tell them because I am sure there are tons of providers out there who have Herpes and they don't bother to tell their clients. As long as condoms are used and there are no symptoms its probably no big deal right?

Even if I were on medication and there were no outbreaks, I wouldn't do that (and condoms aren't 100% foolproof). I won't put a provider at risk. Legal aspects aside, it's just the decent thing to do.

Fair enough, but are you naive enough to think that not a single provider you've seen may have had an STD and put your health at risk just to make money? I'm not talking about serious STDs. Herpes isn't a serious one and a lot of people have it, I'm sure providers out there may have caught it somehow.

No, I'm not that naive, but that wasn't your question. Your question was about clients having STDs. Providers with STDs are another topic entirely. You asked, I answered.

100% on point Their are no minor STDs when you have none, obviously  this lifestyle is a high risk catagory if you have any STD do every one a favor stay home just like when you have the flu or a cold keep your infections to your self the words ADULT and RESPONSIBLE come to mind...
