LE Check

Pretty much a myth if you have both done your research.

If you wind up in bed instead of jail you have passed the LE check.

Everyone who does one is different.  There is no standard that I know of.

Agree more of a myth.
Guess it is still done by some.
Not an accurate way to determine LE IMO.
There are much better ways to try and protect yourself including reading the self-help manual and doing your homework.

Some new ladies think that checking if they are LE before accepting money will somehow save them. Once she answers the door, she is toast. Some think if the guy lets her touch his privates or he gets naked. Neither works. She will still get busted.
