When looking at an agency site.  30 min and 1 hour(as everyone knows) are the offerings.  The thought of having a shower with the girl, maybe a preview, BT, etc. sounds preferable but are only options available if you were to select an hour's time with the provider.  Would a 30 minute visit eliminate the menu available from an hour visit?  A somewhat rushed experience?

Yes, to me that would be a rushed experience and I have never booked less than an hour. That said, lots of guys do it because they can't afford more time and don't take long to pop. In the end, it's whatever works for you.

Thanks for your reply inicky.  Let me ask you this.  Are  "activities" omitted in a 30-min visit and "just get down to the deed" as apposed to the one-hour visit?

But, of course, given the limited time a few activities would have to be limited. Or at least truncated.
