A provider offering to give you a birthday discount, like she mentioned she was gonna be around the week before, and I happened to mention how much of a awesome early birthday present it would be, if I didn't have other financial obligations to attend to. I never asked for the discount she offered it I even tried to make sure she didn't feel like she was shortchanging herself on my account, I mean I know she could easily have found a guy who would have gave her the standard donation.

Either she's trying to boost buisness if y'all have never met hoping you will enjoy her services and see her again when she comes to town.  Possibly her pre bookings were kind of slow and she's trying to make up for it, kind of like Priceline does with rooms. Or even better if y'all have met she thinks you're a nice guy and valued customer or maybe she enjoys you're company so she wanted to help ya out. Count you're blessings my friend and just enjoy!!

It's nice to be thought about and remembered, but I am not comfortable cutting into her fee.

Rather than a "discount" or gift for a special occassion like my birthday I would be happy with taking her dinner OTC and maybe a little extension of our "play time"; especially if I was a repeat customer

It's definitely something in the latter, we had some instant chemistry we met before, which is weird for me. She was also very sweet and sincere, which makes me feel like I'm taking advantage her by accepting this.

to show your appreciation for her offering the discount, then leave her a gift card with a little note on the bathroom sink to make up the difference when you are getting dressed, she will find it after you leave, to show her how much she is appreciated.

All of the above responses are likely correct to one extent or another.  Pre bookings slow, she enjoyed her time with you and is trying to make you a regular, etc.  You are doing something right...and that is a good thing by any measure.

If you didn't ask for it, and she wants to do that for you, why wouldn't you let her do it and feel good about being nice to you. She might just do that for all the boys.

You don't know your provider REALLY likes you till you have your first big argument and she wants to still see you. Birthday discount? I just had one and I didn't get no birthday discount!

I think it's just a matter of her showing her appreciation and doing something nice for you. I think if you meet more providers and become something of a regular client with them you'll find that it's not very unusual. I know I consider some of my clients as real friends and would absolutely treat them special on their special day!
