LE and Id's

If a provider asks for an id, do LEs have phony ids? i'm pretty sure that they have the means to make them for busting purposes. are they allowed to do that? is it common?

If craig smith said he is craig smith- and he is a cop..  what difference does ID make ?It doesnt say

LT.Craig Smith or Sargeant Craig Smith or Craig smith Vice
234 Dadorunrun lane
Manhattan, NY
COP POLICE LE..

ID"s are pointless and arent ever proof that someone is LE.. escorts asking for ID and the threat of a man being LE has nothing to so with one another.

Unless of course someone has a list of every vice/le person in their state.

Yes! LE does and may produce a phony ID at any time. To properly set up a "sting" for lack of a better word they will provide a phony ID. This practice is common if they are aware in advance. The FBI, DEA and all elite LE org already have phony ID's. The one thing a LE official WILL NOT do is show a valid ID. This is a huge NO NO within LE. They generally wil not even list a home phone in the phone book. They are always afraid of personal recourse after the fact. With that said the practice of an ID check is still a smart choice for safety. Anyone may notice traffic and give a knock at the door. If you are dealing with an agency it is standard to call in with the ID in front of you-this is to ensure the person in front of you was the person screened! Always base your day on the "proactive" and not  reactive behavior. Good luck, stay safe and realize life in general is a gamble. Make it fun! xoxo

In my opinion, if a provider is "checking ID" at the door she has already exposed herself to more of a threat of L/E and the psycho client than is comfortable for me.

Checking ID at the door would be nothing more than an added safety IMHO. Much like double knotting a child's shoelace.

I have heard over the years unbelievable tales of ID checks... including the most popular that has been making the rounds regarding L/E being allowed to waive any processing fees on D/L.

If you are a provider I only suggest you get real with the screening and take some precautions... invest some time & energy and save yourself the headache.

If you are a hobbyist I'd only challenge you to consider what precautions a provider is taking. You, as a hobbyist, might think it's great that Sally Sue didn't ask anything about you and that you were able to drive right over to her place.......-But-...; if anything ever happens and L/E gets involved do you really think her level of commitment to protecting you is any greater than the level she demonstrated in protecting her own safety & lifestyle.

Happy Hobbying... know your provider.... and her reputation  kisses ~Tori

Both sides have a little reason to be paranoid but, in the end, nothing is going to replace a sixth sense over whether somebody is lying to you. Women have a distinct advantage in this department.

All the screening, IDs, checks, etc don't guarantee somebody isn't a set-up. It just improves your odds. Since I have no SO, I'd happily provide any info except my SSN, my credit card numbers and my bank account nunbers. What I do provide is enough for anybody to go to publicdata.com or intelius.com and check it against police records, credit reports, etc. If I were a provider, I'd consider something like that a cost of doing business (too bad you can't claim it on your taxes - LOL).

I'll also e-mail a photo (Only fair since we guys want photos). Any woman I want to get together with, I want convinced I'm a stand-up guy who won't be any danger to her.

But, still, there's nothing I can say or do that *guarantees* I"m not LE or a psycho just like there is nothing the escort can do or say that *guarantees* she's not going to rip me off.

At some point, you have to have some trust or you can't function in this environment. The real question becomes how much checking is necessary to feel the risk is reasonable.

Ronald Reagan had a saying about dealing with the Soviet Union - "Trust, but verify". I think that's a great attitude for providers and hobbyists alike. Trust that the person you are dealing with is being straight with you - but verify what you can to improve your chances of not getting stung.
