I am a newbie and dont profess to know much but something occurred to me that I wish to share.
I have watched plenty of Cops and "to catch a predator" shows. Seems to me to be a pattern that, when a man is arrested, there is a frenzy of activity (cops yelling get on teh ground etc...)

In the future, circumstances permitting, I will get to the date very well in advance, or I will call her and tell her I will be 1 hour late. i will then park far away from the room (assuming I can tell via cursory examination or via prior internet research), and watch the door with binoculars. If I see any LE activity, I will obviously leave immediately.

Go with a Well Reviewed Provider. If her Reviews are Great then you have nothing to worry about. That's what I did. It's been over a year I've been seeing her. It's still Great.

...Do your research here on TER. Buy the inexpensive VIP ($30 a month), check the TER ad board for ladies in your area that get your interest, check to see that they have several reviews ( 8 to 10) by reviewers that have several reviews ( a few of those with more than several reviews), and check out your TER regional discussion board for any postings by ladies in your area that interest you. Get verified by a service like P411 (Preferred411), Date Check, RS2K ( more in mid west). Read the reviews juicy details and all so you will be sure she offers what you're looking for. Then contact some of these ladies using the method they specify on their web site or ad. Get screened by said lady (making use of your verification service membership), make the appointment, and go have fun.

For your scenario to work you would have to be seeing the lady at a motel with each room door opening to the outside. This by the way is never recommended as a place to visit escorts. It is where you would be most likely to run into LE. It is also a place where you are more likely to be robbed in one way or another.

I don't recommend you use your method because the best method is to avoid the steps that get you to the place you are seeing an escort at a motel where bad things can happen. There are No guarantees but the steps I spelled out are meant to keep you out of trouble. They work.

I am not sure if you are kidding or not.  I don't want to be fresh I honestly couldn't figure out if you were serious.  I read your post 3x. If you are serious there truly is no certainty to scouting the building for unwanted activity (LE). I too have watched my share of those shows but the fact is they don't cause a ruckus in many cases. They are careful and have lots of tricks. Common to set up a couple rooms and detain in one room until they are finished using the 2nd room.  Some don't even print in the newspaper for a few days.  Google recent activity in your area, this may show you the difference vs television.  There is no 100% way to avoid but you can reduce your risk greatly by seeing proven reviewed girls vs the back page toftt girls you mentioned a couple posts down.  Binoculars in the parking lot will only draw attention and pushing back the time for an hour will perhaps lead to a lonely night.  Do your homework and try to avoid the toftt.

One time about 6 or 7 years ago, I responded to an ad on a different review website for a local provider.

This provider claimed to be a new one in the business. Ok, not much of an issue... at that time. Was quoted the rate and setup the appointment for the next day at a local hotel. Never been to that particular hotel before, so I didn't know the layout of the hotel.

We did the 2 call system thing... went to the hotel, but it was one of those that the doors open to the outside... "saying to myself... watch out for this one..." So my alert flags went up, but I proceeded to the room.  

Was greeted by a knockout of a lady, but I noticed she acted almost too professional. She was also dressed like she was getting ready to go a high class corporate office. It's hard to describe, but I felt something didn't fit right. I had barely taken about 7 steps and turned around facing her and she says, "let's see the money". When I heard the word 'let's' that's the same as 'let us' (meaning more than one person is in it). An alert flag went up.  

Then I responded, 'it's OK, I have the money right here in my pocket', but never pulled it out... yet... then she responded, 'let's see the money'. She sounded almost "robotic" like she was trained only to say certain things. Another alert flag went up.

Then, I told her, that I will show the money once she takes her top and bra off. She responded that she doesn't do that until she sees the money. I told her, "thanks but no thanks". "I think you are a cop and trying to set me up." I started walking out the door,  She laughed, but did not attempt to deny it or stop me from walking out the door.  

(Disclaimer, I know that for the ladies that taking the shirt and bra off doesn't necessarily mean that the lady isn't a cop nor a foolproof LE check, but the fact that she refused that request made me think twice.)

Ok, I chalked that episode as an experience. Later that day on the evening news, I saw a local news piece where cops had setup a 'john bust', and I thought I recognized the hotel building that I was in earlier that day... lo and behold... there's that lady that I saw! She was indeed a cop! Boy, I was glad that I never pulled the money out of my pocket, if I had done that, I would have been "dead in the water".

That was the closest I have ever been to getting busted. I've been doing this hobby thing for 14 years now.  

Since that experience, I only go with well reviewed providers and I do backchannel with the guys who have seen the lady if I still have doubts. Oh yea, consider getting a membership access here in TER and/or other review sites. Always, play it safe!!

P.S. Recently, another 'john bust' and this one was done at a "high end" hotel (the Hilton type)... with inside doors! So... I guess it doesn't matter any more when it comes to 'john busts', hotel layouts are irrelevant these days.

I doubt seriously that you were in the same room as LE, more likely a BSC hooker with weird rules.

IF you had walked into a sting, your communications prior to meeting her combined with your statement "no money until you disrobe" would be more than enough for LE to arrest you. I think you most likely dodged a bullet, but it's doubtful that you dodged LE.

and to the OP. Sometimes you will get well meaning, but completely inaccurate advice here. One thing to take completely out of your vocabulary is the term "LE check" it is bullshit and it will NEVER keep you out of jail. Once you are in the room with LE when they are running a sting you will go to jail. The key is to avoid ever walking into a sting in the first place.

There are many experienced Mongers and providers here that will give you excellent advice, unfortunately Talk To Trees and ROGM are not among them.

I don't care if you don't believe me. I am not here to prove anything to you GaG or anyone else.

I am here to give guys my experiences in the past that I have learned from so those guys don't make the same mistake as I did or end up in jail and be humiliated on the newscast.  

Your blatant attempts to control the content of the forum is a form of manipulation to see posts that fit your criteria.

My "criteria" is accuracy on the part of the people giving advice here, and there has been a lot of very bad advice given here by a few posters. Thankfully we have guys like xyz, Steph, Keystone Kid, mrfisher, Swim of course and several other posters both male and female to set the record straight when necessary.

and yes I did read your "disclaimer" but it was written like the fine print in a contract. Way too little too late after bragging that you had avoided arrest by refusing to pay until she had partially disrobed.

This is horrible advice and will accomplish nothing but getting you thrown out of a legitimate providers incall and still getting you arrested by an LE sting. I don't care what you claim you saw on TV. This is not the kind of advice we want to be giving our newbie members.

This is a board where new folks are seeking counsel on issues they know very little about...other than to have watched TV shows like you describe.

Why not just sit back and let the grown-ups here handle the advice going forward.

For someone who claims to have been in P4P for 14 years you are quite naive.  Maybe if you'd pay attention to the posts here you'll learn something.

FWIW if you were in a room with LE...you're busted.  All of your other nonsense is simply moss growing on your trees.
