This is where your big head needs to take command from your little head. LE is always a potential problem. Houston just had a big bust, Minnesota is still recovering from LE activity all last summer. This is why you and the providers need to screen each other: check their reviews because they are going to check your references.

Is it something to be paranoid about? Not really. But you should be aware that there is always the possibility something might happen. Of course, you could crash your car on the way to a meeting. Shit happens. But pick a well reviewed provider and don't do anything your little head wants if your big head says not.

ladies were running very low cost specials and getting a lot of personal info from clients. poof, they're gone.

aside from getting a few warnings from folks watching my back i did research on the local board so i was never much at risk. my method was this:

go back to the earliest profile in the review. search the board for the appearance of that lady. (should be about the same time.) also search for the disapearance of a previous lady.

correlating such appearances and disappearances can't be perfect and takes time but i've developed a fairly good idea of who has been arrested and how many times by this technique. it allows you to independantly verify that backchannel infor isn't just gossip.

now a history of arrests may not be quite enough to disqualify. a record of cooperation with the Knights of the Krispy Kreme is also necessary. if i know and trust the competence of a provider (my pride in judging character may be a weakness of overconfidence LOL!) an arrest may simply lead to avoiding seeing her in the jurisdiction involved until the case has been disposed.

There are definately crack downs in my area as the state just changed the law & are out to set an example.  
Hobbists & providers should always have been careful anyway.  "Well reviewed providers" are still well reviewed providers.  This includes a number of reviews by reviewers with multiple reviews...  over a period of time.  
This is not the time to be trying out new tallent.  
Keep your spidey sense turned on...  throughout all communications...  if things do not seem to be right, walk away.

If LE is present your busted.  Do not speak.  They will not make a deal with you that does not make things worse. As other poster's have said do not lie.  Remember, however, once you say the  magic words they can no longer ask you any questions.
