It worked for me.

The gal explained what TER was and what it was all about so I joined and reviewed her.

Maybe not all your clients will be interested, but if only a few are, you'll soon be on the road to review-stardom.

This question comes up often so here's what I would do if I was a provider.  Those more experienced feel free to comment on whether this is feasible or wise.  Go to your local board (assuming you have one in your area), start reading the posts, and find a guy who posts and reviews often and is a respectful nice guy.  Read his reviews and find someone who is interested in the type of services you offer and your looks.  Once you find that guy email him and ask him to see you and then give you your first review.  You can't offer him a discount to motivate him but maybe you can offer a longer session in exchange for the review (again more experienced people please step in here).  Personally I would be flattered if a woman emailed me and based on my online behavior and review content asked for my assistance in getting started.  It seems that many women starting out ask the first few guys to review them and don't have immediate success getting their first review.  Hand picking an experienced guy who would be willing to see a brand new provider, who likes your services and looks, has a long review history, and is doing you a favor seems like a faster way to success.  Or this approach is fraught with problems and against TER policy and I have no idea what I'm talking about.  Where is Swim when I need him.

offering extra free time on top of a paid appointment is still the same as offering a discount. Many of us do multiple hours so if I gave you two hours for the price of one for a review, that's the same as a discount. And I agree with you discounts are not a good way to get reviews or shills.
