Nearly every provider I've ever met keeps contacts on their phone for as long as they have that phone...maybe longer. I don't really blame them. Makes it much easier to know who they have and haven't had contact with. I don't know of any provider that would store any additional info on their phones.

Emails are another story. Some save them and others don't. I admit that I do. Makes it easy for me to remember our history if it's a girl I have or would consider repeating with. Emails from the 'one and done' girls eventually get deleted but I have some that are years old.  

Some may be concerned about having 'incriminating evidence' but A) I aint voluntarily giving up access to my email, B) Good luck to getting 'heresay' to hold up in court, and C) I'm not married anymore so I really don't give a rat's ass if I somehow get outted based on such drivel.

From spreadsheets to word docs to calendars to simply gmail where you can search anything, to pure memory. From what I have heard, getting a hobby phone is important for men who have significant others, not necessarily to avoid their phone number being found by LE.

with an SO, but having your name and phone/email address on a provider's phone is merely suggestive and not incriminating. Hell you can have a sexual discussion with women (or men) all you want, whether you know them or not. And keep the records of it. So what?

What you cannot do, and what is incriminating, is talk about having sex for money. If you're following the rules, that ain't happening.  

So follow the rules and be safe. If the cops show up, shut it and get your lawyer. If your SO finds out... well, you are probably SOL.

I could understand why some would keep info on hand if they see multiple clients per day (or week), but some of us are low key. It's easy to remember, especially if most of our clients return for more.
