Getting back into the hobby after a 4 year absence and only had HJ before. Add-ons happened every once in a while. For the more shall we say involved providers, do the posted rates really reflect the service desribed in the VIP reviews or are there add-ons?

steer you in the direction of well reviewed TER Indy providers that are full service, and don't require haggling.There are some good agencies, but avoid AMPs. Get TER VIP memebership, if you don't have it. AMPS are YMMV, and B&S is rampant. Also, they seem to get closed down regularly.

from my small amount of experience, all inclusive rates are the norm, sometimes fetishes can cost more.  If they try to upsell, you haven't done your review homework.

general. Clearly he hasn't done his homework, or is happy with HJ only. TER VIP is worth every penny.

I have been in the middle of a couple of bad upsell situations (can you say "agency"?), but not since I found TER.
Get VIP & read, read, read.  A well reviewed lady is well reviewed for a reason, or lots of reasons :^)

Services, practices, and attitudes vary widely, even when located in the same market, although most areas tend to have similar practices, brought on by competition and customer demand.

I have had both repeat stellar experiences and very shoddy service (and non-service) in an AMP.  The key to good service is to do your homework, via reviews (here and elsewhere) and asking protocol questions for AMPs in the specific area or market.

Each local board probably varies but most should have frequent posters and you can b/c and get additional info.

In the cities that I travel I do not know of any well reviewed indep. that up-sells. (*I can't imagine it being an incentive to repeat business*)
