In addition to doing one’s homework on TER, it would seem that before taking the plunge as a newbie it would be helpful to see a provider that would be willing to meet initially in the bar/restaurant/lobby of the place of outcall.  This would seem to break the ice a little and discourage LE as I am assuming they would not have the patience nor manpower to tie someone up for this period of time.  Of course this would limit the selection to outcalls and would obviously mean more of an investment in the encounter since the clock would be ticking.  Is this a prudent plan or am I totally off base?

Your question indicates that you have two concerns - breaking the ice and LE.

Another alternative would be to see a very, very well-reviewed provider. I would suggest someone in the 35 or older age group. In the process of doing your homework, find someone with several reviews where the reviewer is almost at a loss for words in describing how the provider made him feel.

My point is that the first provider you see should be someone who is experienced enough to recognize that you have the concerns that all first-timers have. She will know what to do to make you very relaxed and comfortable.

that the time you spend at a bar or restaurant is "on the clock"  and should be compensated.

Fees are for time spent and not an offer for prostitution.

like HerrZunge says, I think the LE concern isn't that much.  Getting to know someone before is always a good thing imo.  But yes, be prepared to compensate the lady you choose for her time.  Have fun!

I visit with providers through e-mails and phone calls before meeting them and this is good for both parties. She gets to feel you out as a potential client (since I presume you have no references) and you get to know her better so it will be easier to feel relaxed with her.

A busy provider may mean you have to have some patience and timing to make that work but most are willing to give you a few minutes of their time to know more about you.

Two things to be careful about: 1) privacy. If you are going to contact a provider by e-mail or phone, make sure it is using a method which your family has no access to it. 2) discretion. Don't try to talk about sex or rates with her or she may hang up on you or refuse to contact you. Research her website and learn her rates/preferences that way.
