From what i've read it seems that most verifications include asking about where you work? What if you are retired? unemployed? trust fund baby? independently wealthy? pot dealer? etc. Will you be discriminated for not having a 9 to 5 ?

You may need to give them information on which clown college you attended, and other clown references LOL.  Just kidding.  Depending on where you live, there are services that can help verify you, even if you are self employed.  In the Midwest, Room Service 2000 is big, and a lot of the ladies will take that.  Go to your local board and ask the local ladies which service they recommend.

As for the drug dealers, I don't know many established providers that entertain such. Drugs plus prostitution always equals LE sooner or later.

You don't have to be 9 to 5 to meet a provider, you just have t carefully select one who is established and has enough experience to know what she is doing.

This is a great question that I've been wondering myself.

I was laid off from a large financial firm because of the "economic crisis."  And because of my unique position at that firm (and basically having had the keys and the knowledge to their deepest, darkest secrets [evil, maniacal laugh]), I was given a pretty hefty severance package.  So I'm not really "working".  I tend to take on short consulting projects here and there, but nothing serious.

I know there are places like Datecheck, but they go through employment information as well, which, as I stated, does not exist right now.
