What does a provider do when an agency she no longer works for posts ads saying that she will be places, and cancels on the client at the last minute, making it out to be the girls fault?

I've found the ads, and am doing my best to report them to the sites they're on. What else can I do?

That's so messed up !!!!!! have you tried to contact that service  and letting them know you are going to start contacting every site they are associated with and let them know that they are bad business and that you are going to do every thing in your power to give them a bad name if they keep continuing to use your name I know that's not much help but I know that any business does not want negative imput towards there company .....
Good luck

Others try to ruin them...  give the gal a bad name.  See your reputation as a dependable provider has great value.
I wouldn't want to start a pissing contest because mean agencies can do worse...  but I'd label your contact direction as a "NEW private line".  You might try advertising as "now independent".  "Only appointments made through this line are valid.

Report, report, report... If the pictures belong to you and you no longer work for them is a trademark/copyright infringement. You can state that on the email and even tell them that you are retaining an attorney, (if you have an attorney friend he can send a cease and desist to the agency) for using your name/images without your consent. Try the email first and see what happens.. Good luck to you!

You posted under an alias, probably to avoid retribution, but if you have a Profile and some reviews, be sure to ask TER to change you URL, contact info (phone, email, etc.) and update everything relevant (Phone Type: agency vs she picks up), etc.  You can either submit a "Problem Report" on your Profile or "Contact Us" and include your Profile ID and compose the changes as an email.

Maybe other ladies here can even recommend whether you should change your name and get new pics. (Your Profile would then have BOTH names, new and old: "Mary / Susan")  WATERMARK YOUR PICS

Thanks guys. Ill definitely try all of your suggestions.

What do I do if TER won't let me change my profile, because an email needs to be sent from the agency releasing it and confirming that I'm independent now? Obviously, they have not done that.

They're also refusing to give me my pictures, that I paid good money for :-(

The easiest way is to put up an Internet ad with your old name but new phone number & contact information.  Then when you contact TER, you link to the ad.
If you later decide to change your name, use your new phone & it'll be easy to confirm.
Afraid you need new pictures.  Watermark them.

If you paid for the pictures they belong to you.  Good luck with that.  The agency is not being nice.  Good agencies have girls come & go...  and also have good providers return...  because they were treated well.

This problem has come up before and I'm trying to remember the solution.  I don't know what DOES work but this MIGHT work.

Provide PROOF to TER that you are you and are now indy: candid photo holding a "Hay, TER, it's really me!" sign that matches you to your ad pics?  Maybe TER will even contact the agency if you make your case strongly enough.

If you CHANGE NAMES AND CONTACT INFO ("Susan" TER ID 123456 becomes "Mary") and get a new review and a new Profile it should be EASY to merge the two Profiles into one, and force the removal (or at least subordination) of the agency info to your new info.

That is: post new ads with new pics but that match you in appearance (even try the same outfit and same pose!).  Use a new name ("Mary").  Mary gets a new review and Profile (Mary TER ID 987654).

Now someone submits a Problem Report and says: "Mary 987654 is the same person as Susan 123456.  Compare the pictures.  Same girl!  New contact info.  Merge into one."  If TER agrees that new Mary is old Susan, they move the new reviews to Susan 123456, change the name on 123456 to "Mary / Susan", change the URLs to the new URLs and the phone info, etc. and DELETE the duplicate 987654 Profile.

At that point, it should be easier for you to control your own TER ID Profile
