I've fallen, and I can't get up!

I'm very new to this type of adventuring, and after a couple of false starts and unsatisfying encounters I finally managed to have a first real great experience.

And that's my problem. I went a little overboard and booked a long dinner date with the nicest woman in the world, and I think I fell in love with her. She was just so mind-bogglingly charming and fun I think she has ruined me for other women!

Does this happen to other guys? How do you prevent it?

My solution will be to immediately seek out other providers. I know I have to in order to deal with the rollercoaster feelings I'm having - but to be honest, at this moment my heart is not in it.

Oh well, live and learn I guess.

The Tubes said it best "but don't fall in love she's a beauty, she's one in a million girl, she's one in a million girl, why would I lie, now why would I lie"   Yes it happens to other people, you have already come up with the best way to move on, and most likely the best way to not have it happen.  That is see a variety of different ladies.

My advice, such as it is, is just have fun with it. Don't take it too seriously. You can bet she probably won't, but then you never know. There have been many many messages on these boards going way back over the trials and triumphs of those of us who fall in love. I have fallen very hard twice so far, and of course it didn't do me or her any good. I still see the one gal though, for over two years now. GRIN. So just have fun, and don't take it too seriously. These gals are often a lot better women than most women know how to be. And in addition often are better people, too. But not always. :)

..If a woman likes you, she'll let you know. Other than that just be a good "John".
