It's wrong to assume that.

When a provider has several positive reviews and a few negative ones, is it fair to assume that maybe the client may have been somewhat too blame?  Either poor hygene, grossly overweight, or some combination that otherwise turned the lady off? Interested in peoples thoughts.

... I tend to think it could be on the reviewer if the provider has almost all positive reviews and a small number of negative ones. Then I look at the review details of the negative reviews to find commonalities, and I also look at the other reviews from the negative reviewers. Sometimes I see that the reviewers who gave the provider the negative reviews tend to give almost every provider a negative review, including low scores. Just as there's guys who give a lot of 10/10s, there's guys who think a 6/6 is a very good score.

But this situation could also be caused by the provider having a bad day or two. And maybe the reason for the bad day was the hygiene or behavior of the monger. If the provider has many positive reviews and just 1-2 lesser ones, I tend to discount those, or it might cause me to do more research such as PMing recent reviewers.

Have you ever had negative experiences with restaurants, cable providers, car dealerships, airlines, hotels... Have they all been your fault as a client?

Every provider has off days, and providers and clients have different expectations and personalities, and their own opinions. What if the lady is late or doesn't show up? What if she spends too much time on her phone? What if she's 50 and advertises herself as 30, or she's gained 60 lbs since the photos she uses?

These things all play into reviews and have absolutely nothing to do with client variables like stinky breath or being drunk or any of your examples mentioned.

It has to do with a provider's service and a customer's opinions. Providers are human and providing a service, and if the service was not good, then a review can honestly reflect that.
