It's not big brother we should worry about

It's groups like End Demand.  If it were up to them, they would make up a law that would require rs2k to disclose their entire list. That's guaranteed to "end demand".

Your right though. No way to verify that they did delete your name.

Newbie here. I'm sure that this has been asked/answered before.  I tried searching but there are so many posts on RS2K that it's hard to filter and look for specific information.

I haerd that RS2K is safer than other options for verification. But I worry about the long term. One of my fears with RS2K is that my name and other private information will be in their database forever!  You can never tell what will happen in the future with all the new laws that have been passed. A verification service like RS2K is basically a list of potential perps for LE to go after.

So my question - do I have the option to ask them to purge my record from their database? Can you cancel your lifetime verification (for a fee) and get unlisted?

there would be no way to validate that your information was actually deleted.

I don't think you need to be concerned however, I doubt big brother would ever go to the trouble connect the dots to a regular joe (or john in this case).

Big brother usually just chases the money.
