Because they type "C" and the site's software autocorrects it to "see"

That's the most likely scenario. At least I know that's a fact on one hobby site I visit a lot. I'm sure some other sites are similar. That doesn't happen here on TER.

It's just another internet "thing"

I've seen "bee cups",  "dee cups" as well.

Just people either being stupid or thinking they are clever.

Or more likely whatever people type trying to be cute...

...because no one has ever come up with different ways to reference body parts before.  (that's light hearted sarcasm)

Both are plausible in certain scenarios.  And auto-correct doesn't really explain my examples.

Never said you were wrong...just pointing out there's more than one explanation.
