I have looked at this site for awhile, and love all the help you guys and gals give, I posted my 1st review last week and it came back unapproved. Why? I already sent a message to admin, but haven't heard back yet.

Click on Account Manager, then click on My Reviews. Go into the review and it should tell you why it was disapproved. it could also be that you don't have a review history built up, the provider you reviewed, doesn't have a history, or any of a number of reasons. Admin should answer you eventually.

Often the reason for a refusal is given there.

If it is your first review of a gal with no, or few reviews, often TER wants to see at least one more review from a reviewer with some history before they will publish the review.

There could be other reasons, of course.

The previous replies have got it right...  First time reviewers often don't get their first reviews approved if the lady is also previously unreviewed.  This was instituted to prevent self reviews...

It's possible that there's something that can be edited to fix & resubmitted.  check under account manager:  my reviews.

However all is not lost!  You have 90 days to post a review (& get credit for doing so).  If you get another review accepted...  or she gets reviewed by a more seasoned reviewer...  the review can be resubmitted.

Welcome aboard!

I am a provider with the same problem.  It is a true catch 22.  I have had three different guys (new to TER) post a review.  Their reviews have not appeared.  Since I am new - none of you seasoned gents wants to take a chance.  Come on - Someone in Los Angeles - Take one for the team.  Give a newbie a break.

I did check under my reviews. All it says is disapproved. You guys are probably right though. I have no reviews, and neither did she. She asked if i'd give some feed back on here, I said sure. After all, I had a great time. :)

Having the same issue, Madison.  No one wants to take a chance.  :(

The one success I had isn't a big TER poster, he told me so, and that's his right not to want to write a review on me.  Just makes it hard to garner some rep 'round here without someone TOFTTing me.

Keep your spirits up, it'll get better.  I'll come to LA and sleep with ya, we can do a mutual xchange, lol.  And I'm straight!

Kidding, kidding, mod-man.

discussion boards, especially your regional board. Being more visible and posting more adds to your credibility. Or so I've been told.

I'm coming to LA for vacation in two monthes ;)
May I say, you look beautiful.

I've had this problem with reviews being denied.  I have a "seasoned" guy I have seen for 5 years and he has shown me that his reviews got denied because I don't have web site.

I wonder... if I was to see a provider legitamately, if my reviews would be denied just because I'm a female.  Hm.  Never tried reviewing anyone I have seen (been only a few times I did that over the years)  You think the "review gods" would deny my review of another provider, just because I am a provider?  Or do you think they'd read it and put it up seeing as I am being honest?

I'm still figuring it out, and I just submitted my first review.

Basically, what they're trying to do is to keep it fair. They don't want someone to get a friend to write a glowing review, or do it herself on somebody else's computer. One way they do this is by seeing who else the reviewer has reviewed (are they reviewing the providers they have seen or writing an ad for a friend) and who else has reviewed the provider (are their appraisals of this provider consistent with others'). So a first time reviewer writing a provider's first review has virtually no chance of having it accepted, especially if it goes to one extreme or the other. Instead, they hold these reviews until they have more to compare them to.

I have yet to come across any reviews written by women. It's possible I just didn't notice, but I would think they would have w4m/w4w as a search parameter if reviews by women were included. I mean, it seems more relevant than how many piercings they have.

Well, that makes sense.  It's nice to know they're trying to be objective about it.
