It would be ok with me ...

Here is a hypothetical situation. I think this is a safe way to discover if the provider is LE or not. and tell me what you think.

I call a provider and have her meet me in my hotel room. I tell her my floor but I tell her the wrong room number. Example.. I am at the Hilton, call the provider, ask her to meet me in room 640, but I am actually in room 639. I sit in the hotel lobby at the time she is going to arrive, and since she doesn't know what I look like, I can observe her and see if she is accompanied by LE. If I feel it is safe, I get in another elevator and greet her before she reaches the wrong room number and escort her in my room. If I see something suspicious I just let her knock on the wrong room number and I avoid getting busted. I know this is wrong, but what do you guys think? Do you think this strategy is wise to use? I mean I am not trying to mislead anyone but I am just playing it safe.

Why don't you stick with a well reviewed indy incall from TER and stop being so paranoid?

If she's connected to the networks, you will then be blacklisted.

There is a very, very, small, minute chance that LE would sting you through an outcall.  If you stick to well reviewed ladies, you should be fine.

Not the least of which is that the gal will walk out on you once she gets wind of what you were doing.

You're going to totally freak her out, and she'll most likely leave. And yes, its possible she could blacklist you, as doing that comes off really creepy. Stick with well reviewed girls. If you're this paranoid, you might want to rethink whether you're ready for this yet. That much paranoia and overthinking can't make for a fun time.

If you don't think that the ladies are pretty intellegent and observant of what's going on when they walk into a hotel, I think you are very mistaken.  They have eyes too and they look around that lobby for signs of any trouble too.

Assume they see you in the lobby and then next, they see you in the same hallway they are in.  My guess is that the girl wouldn't stop to knock on any door and she would probably not talk to you either.  I'd guess she'd just walk right down the hallway, back to the elevator, and be gone.

If you have done proper research on her, this elaborate spy scheme should not be necessary.  Like the other responders have said, she will quite likely think you are some kind of nut case and leave.

If I was that worried that she was LE or working with LE, I would not have booked her in the first place.

parked my car, and walked up to his room.  As I approached, the door opened.  He said he was watching me pull in, get out of the car and walking up through his window.  It was really creepy.  If I knew where his room was, I would have parked somewhere else.

... as long as I was staying in room 640.  Once she knocked and I opened the door, I would probably think my prayers had been answered!

You can send a bottle of champagne over to us if you really want to check for LE.  They can't drink on the job.

Of course, then there you'd be next door, listening to us as we frollicked and laughed and wondered who set us up so well.

I'm new to this but aren't LE more concerned with stinging the providers and not the hobbyists? It just seems like they'd be less concerned with the people who pay for the service and try to target those who provide it.

but it is very rare for them to strike on foreign turf; therefore they will be the ones to get the room and lure in clients or providers, according to however they see the biggest impact.

When you (the client) are in your own hotel room, you pretty much don't have to worry about LE showing up.

The gal however, has that foremost on her mind, thus you don't want to do anything that will freak her out.

Here's a little maneuver to help make the gal feel safe:

As you wait in your hotel room, leave the door ajar using the security lock placed between the door and the jamb.

Now the gal can enter without having to stop or knock on the door.  (Knocking is almost a giveaway to others in earshot of what is going on.)

Plus, no LE is ever going to leave a door ajar and be surprised by someone just walking in.  After all, they need time to assume their battle stations.  Thus the gal will be assured that you are not LE.

as part of outcall screening I call your room and check the registration.  If you give me the wrong room number, that's a red flag for me and I would not be visiting your hotel.  If you do your homework properly, you would not need such a tactic.

She'll brush off "other guys" trying to hit on her...  or be freaked that she's being indiscretely id'd in a public hall way...  or set up by LE.  In any case, she'll be outta there...

I recall a lady who was spooked when she was propositioned after leaving a client's room...  she didn't know how she was known but definately upset...  Oh, yeah, you want the lady to feel comfortable with you, not upset.
