This is a tough game to get into! I am still struggling with a few timing issues; I only have limited windows of opportunity so I try to plan accordingly. I need some help figuring out:
1. How soon in advance should I request a date? I am concerned two weeks notice may be too much advance. 2. After submitting verification info, how long should I wait before moving on to another option?
Any advice from the board's cagey vets would be much appreciated.
Option A, if you know what your schedule is in advance, go ahead and set up a date two or three weeks in advance. Make sure you're able to verify the day before and the day of that your date is going ahead as planned.
Option B: Find a reputable provider in your area who lists her phone number and does same-day appointments. Call her about an hour before date time (but remember she could be busy when you're trying to call her, so this option is hit-and-miss).
