if you want to do some role-playing, you should definitely discuss it with the provider ahead of time.  Many providers have costumes to accommodate certain types of role-playing sessions.  If she has the costumes, she needs to know what to bring with her if she is doing an outcall with you.  She could also ask you to supply her with the costume if she doesn't have it.

Once she is in costume, just use your imagination.  You could have some kind of scene in mind, or just let it happen.  If she is used to role-playing, she might lead the scene.

I have never tried role play before, but am going to see a great gal who advertises on her website that she enjoys role play. So decided to try to fulfill another fantasy of mine.

Is it better to have a script ready, or just have a general scenario and build as you go along?

Is it better to warn her via email about role play in advance, or discuss it once she arrives (it is a long date, so time will not be a problem).

As swim suggested you might want to give the gal an idea of what you have in mind beforehand.  If this is a new lady that could be a tad dicey, but get screened and then let her know what you are seeking.  Obviously a repeat visit would make that discussion easier.

As far as script writing and playing that out...I, for one have a general outline (but not something that has to be done exactly as "scripted") for a lady to perform a scene.  But as the activities begin to unfold, it is soooo much fun just to let things move however they will.

And the ladies seem to really enjoy the variation of a role play.  Don't be shy in letting her indulge your fantasy.
