important to keep all of us safe and secure:

IF you need a reference from a lady:

be sure you have seen her very recently or very regularly. She should be able to recognize your email address or voice on the phone.

email or call her to ask for her reference before you give out her contact information or submit a date check or preferred411 request.

If asking for a reference to be given to another provider, let the lady know who you are asking her to provide a reference to - be prepared with the new lady's contact information

If you are requesting verification through a site, give the lady your username (but not password) so that she will associate the username with you when the site contacts her for an okay.

never give out any information about the lady's contact information or incall location or any personal information about her that is not on her website to anyone under any circumstances including requests on TER made by PM.

You know I understand the need for references but I have to say that it can be a bit overblown. The constant bitching about references, 2 or 3 or 5, is just too much of a headache and really gets to be insulting.

I remember what it was like for me getting started and not having any references. I couldn't get the time of day from any independents who I contacted. Some won't even take references from agencies which is beyond ridiculous. I have had nothing but the easiest of experiances with girls through the agency that gave me a chance without references and no girl I have seen has ended up in a body bag.

Again I am not saying that safety is something that providers don't deserve to be careful about but you are in a line of work that is always going to have some risk applied to it. I have had gaps in my appointments over my short time in this hobby and I have not changed into a madman in the interim, some of us are busy with other things.

5 years is one thing but 6 months to a year is really not that big of an issue.

I have seen several ladies over 6 months ago with whom I have kept in contact with either via e-mail, PM's, or seeing them at M & G's.  I'm guessing any of these ladies would vouch for me if I asked them.
