Is this normal or a scam?

So I was looking through BP and I came across an ad that sparked my interest. In the ad there were instructions to contact the provider either by email or instant message to get more information and to set up a date. There was no phone # or donation info in the ad. I wrote an email asking for additional info and she said she had a full gfe menu and offered incall at her apt. This was all fine and dandy however there are two things that make me nervous. One is her rate, which is only $150/hr, and makes me doubt that she would offer a true GFE session for that price but even more than that what alarmed me the most was her scheduling and screening process. She says in order to book with her you have to join an adult community site that she is a member of for $25 of which she will subtract from her rate when you meet her in person.  She says she requires this of all new clients and that the site prevents law enforcement from gaining access and once you join you will have access to her personal page that has her telephone # and address, at which point you can set the appointment.

Any providers ever done this or something similar? Guys have you ever booked a session in some manner? And found everything to be legit?

$25 to join an adult community site is bogus. However, the following  referral sites are legit  date check, rs 2000 and P 411.  Many escorts have personal web sites that you can access, and there is no charge.

This is not a normal process...move on and avoid the drama (you will be out $ 25 pronto and other personal information)

If she said RS2K, P411 or DC they are legit and some girls do indeed offer a discount. Not all girls do, but some do.

Sounds like a scam to me. Maybe not, but why take the chance. Try datecheck and p411.

This same question was posted on another board here a couple of weeks ago.The gentleman that posted the question actually provided his credit card info and big surprise he did not get the ladies contact info. That ad is just a way for somebody to get your credit card info more than likely it has nothing to do with you actually seeing a lady.Once they have your credit card info that is all they want. There are too many legitimate verification sites that do not ask for money to gain a ladies info now if you want to be a member of a legitimate verification site there is a fee for the gentleman but other replies to this post indicate which sites are legit.Never give credit card info out without researching because once they have it you are going to be up shits creek without a paddle!

I read once that the initial charge only covers you a day. The very small fine print will state that after the initial period is up, your card will be recharged at the normal "membership" rate, which can be as high as $99.00! And the bad guys have your credit card number and some of your personal information. It's nothing but a scam. Only trust the sites the first couple responders mentioned.
