Hello Girls and Boys of The Erotic Review,

I have just moved from Australia to LA. I have worked for a while there and in London, Tokyo etc. I am moving between NY and LA and would love some information on a few things, if you would be so kind as to give me some of your invaluable knowledge I would appreciate it a lot.

I have done both Escorting and Erotic Massage and would like to be able to continue supporting my budding film career with the same kind of funds as before but I am worried about one major factor... being arrested. This is my main concern. Is it a common and constant occurrence or are they just in spurts to kind of teach people a lesson? I understand that you may not be able to answer but I would like some kind of way of gaging the likely hood of being arrested as an escort at an agency. I went to a few interviews in NY and the hourly rate I was offered was from $800-1000... does this price play a part at all? Do they go after rub and tugs more than full service? These are all my questions. I also went to an erotic massage parlor and the girl was really sweet and said they hadn't had any trouble because she never admits to actually providing any kind of service... she just happens to give hand relief at the end.

I realise some people might get a little cranky at me for asking but I like to be informed before I risk the possibility of not being allowed to re enter the US... I love it so much I would be devastated.

Im coming form a country were it is legal and regulated so health, safety and most of all my rights have never been a concern so I don't want to stroll into the US and assume everything will be fine. So as a working girl in this fair country, is being arrested just considered part and parcel or is it just the unlucky ones?

Thanks
Isabelle.

The main way to avoid arrest is discretion and screening.

There is a lot of discussion on these boards on how to play safe, as well as in the Self Help or Newbie Manual as it is still called on the Classic TER site.

Welcome, and I hope your stay is prosperous and enjoyable, as well as safe.

100 percent certain.

Only see guys who solid references for well known providers. Message board reviews and other sites aren't really enough.

Plus use common sense. Don't go to the same hotel day after day. Don't place ads on the low sites like CL. Etc.

Good luck

You may get deported for committing a crime involving "moral turpitude". Not sure how likely that is to happen on a first offense, but prostitution is a deportable crime.

The members and providers there should be able to steer you towards the most reputable and discreet agencies in those two cities.

Good Luck and welcome

Thanks for all your help...

I guess I need to establish what I am prepared to risk to stay in the profession. Its food for thought.

Decisions Decisions! I will have to pick an agency that screens their clients like nobodies business if I want to better my chances. Thanks for all your advice.
