I’ve been experimenting with “Search on TER” web browser plugins (both IE Explorer and Mozilla/FireFox) and wonder if there is more detailed information on WHAT IT CAN & CANNOT HANDLE. Is there a person, thread, group that deals or improves this GREAT feature?
What formats of phone number can it handle? These would be DESIRED methods of handling
555 1212 (blank space in normal place) -> 555-1212 5 5 5 1 2 1 2 (multiple blank spaces) -> 555-1212 5-5-5-1-2-1-2 (other characters in number) ->555-1212 5=5=5-1=2=1=2 (other characters in number) 555-1212 fivefive5-one21two (numbers as words) -> 555-1212
How does it handle area code? 999-555-1212 (999)555-1212 -> 999-555-1212 9995551212 -> 999-555-1212
How about other searches like Names or Multiple Words like
with a phone number with the correct format. See the link for the basic HTML format and make sure the body has only the phone number. I tried to give an example here but embedded html isn't allowed in the posts.
Save the file and open it in a browser to use the ter plug-in. I'm not aware of any support of the plug-in for other fields
