I am posting this topic to find out what the main differences are. Should I expect a better service from one rather than the other?

Are Independents more hospitable and relaxed because they feel less pressure because they are their own boss?  

At first thought I would think the Agency girl would be more of a "time to go" clockwise her experience.  

On the other hand is the Agency less paranoid about screening processes? I would guess the Agency is easy to book with when you are already a client.  

Tell the pros and cons. I am sure I missed a lot of stuff.

It depends upon how you define service. As you noted, the booking experience vs. the actual encounter are 2 different things.

It all depends upon the agency or more precisely the person you book with. In general though your chances of having a good overall experience are substantially higher with most independents than most agencies. There are good, average and bad in each category, but in my experience there are not many great or even good agencies. Yet there are some really good agencies in some cities. Even so, when I've used an agency I don't call them without having one or more girls in mind. I book certain woman through their agency. When you book through an agency you are not meeting up with the agency, you are still meeting with a person.

What it always boils down to is doing your homework regardless if it's an agency or not. Agencies that I trust have their place with me since in general they are usually easier to contact, especially on shorter notice. Only twice have I met with someone the agency recommended before I could research her. I am batting .500 in that category which is far lower than when I act independently.

On a side note. joining a good screening service like Preferred 411 or RS2K can go a long way to shortening the screening time with an independent.

The best agencies I've used  would be better described as a group of semi-independent girls that all share the same booking and screening agent. Plus, I would never use any agency or independent that does not perform good screening. It is as much for my protection as hers. I do not want to visit with someone that doesn't really care who she meets with. I used to do that decades ago and it sometimes did not end well.

But there are thousands of agencies and independents, and each run their business in their own way. Some agencies screen rigidly, as do some independents, while others don't screen at all. Some agencies are sending girls out on back to back to back appointments that necessitates clock-watching, while others just say "call me when you are done". Some independents are strict (to the point of being rude) clock watchers; some watch the clock discretely and start getting ready to leave when the time approaches; some will stay as long as you let them, and expect to be paid for every minute over, and some are just laid back and will hang out with you for a while. They are individuals, and attempts to pigeonhole them will not serve you well - if you approach a session with unwritten expectations, you are likely to be disappointed.

The only thing I can think of to keep in mind is that the agency girl has to give back a hefty chunk of the donation to the agency, anywhere from a third to more than half. She is more likely to expect a tip than an independent. Sometimes they "require" a tip, other times if you don't tip they will just report back to the agency, and it's got to affect the service you get (if any) from that point forward.
