I'm not sure if it's common but it has happened before to me and others as well.Try some other agencies or preferably and independent.Since they work for themselves, they're more likely to keep the appt.Good luck.

... but sometimes for a legitimate reason.  A few months ago, an indy lady no-showed on me.  She callled me later to apologize, and telling me wh she didn't make the visit, which was consistant with the story she she gave me when we met a few days later (btw, I had a great time).

I understand why some would recommend indies over agency in your circumstance.  However, real life events are equally possible for indy providers as those who work for an agency.

Did you call the agency when she no-showed?  A fantastic agency would send another quality provider.  A good agency would apologize, and make a future guaranteed" visit.  If their attitude was "oh well", then it is time to move on.

Have a list several alternative agencies and independents that you have researched for dependability and availability but did not book. If the agency or lady of your first choice does not arrive or contact you in a reasonable amount of time start working down your list.

I think the origional poster was going to an incall location, and arrived and attempted to call the agency to get the room (two call system..).

Anyways, the agency did not answer the phone at all.

Sometimes agencies get real busy at the hours and half hours, and the phone does not get answered in a timely manner because of all the customers calling to get room numbers.  Waiting 5 minutes and calling back sometimes works, but not always.
