Placing the envelope as you stated is the correct way to go.  Whether you wish to excuse yourself to allow her to check the donation is up to you, but be sure the lady has a solid and good rep from previous reviews before letting the cash out of your sight, especially if you are hosting.  Your research should have turned up what a "cash and dash" is.

As for her ad not listing rates, I would check her website, or profile here.  Most ladies list their donation requirements on their website, and her profile will include some information as well.  Avoid asking if you can; many will tell you if they don't list this when you make the appointment.

As for tipping, the best way is to just slip it to her as you are leaving.  This shouldn't be a concern during your first foray, though, since you won't have any frame of reference as to what "exceptional" is.  BTW, if the lady ever mentions tips, it means upsell.  Never a good thing.

Best of luck.

Hi!  From reading some newbie tips & FAQ,  the most respectful way to leave a donation is to have it ready in an envelope and upon entering the room just put it on a table or nightstand somewhere.  Then maybe you excuse yourself to brush your hair or turn around so the lovely lady can take it/count it discreetly?  How do I know a lady's rates if she doesn't advertise them in her ad, will she tell me when I call for appt. and directions?  Also, if I want to leave a tip for an exceptional experience, do I have another envelope ready to put down after services are rendered in kinda the same fashion?  Sorry for all the questions, but I want to keep everything pretty smooth and respectful, thanks.

...shouldn't see anyone who isn't reviewed here.  If she doesn't have rates in her ad, you can verify her rates by asking if the information in her TER profile is up to date..

Hapened to e, so in my email with references I added the following orvsimilar words: "I value your time, as I am sure you do as well.  Unfortunately, your web site does not define those values.  Please advise.". She wrote back, With rates and that her new web master has been taken to the wood shed!

Asking an escort what she charges for an hour of her time is not against the law.  Asking her what she will do for that hour is a bad idea...

The fact that you are seeing ads without rates tells me that you are probably looking on Back Page for your dates.  Bad idea for any newbie.  Stick to girls who are reviewed her on TER. When you call to book ask her if the TER rate info is up to date.  If she has a website or an ad with rates on it those would always supersede anything that you might see on TER.

I just had my first encounter with an escort earlier this week. I did my due diligence and made sure she had plenty of positive reviews, and everything was up to date. OP these guys wont steer you wrong, my first and second (hey it's my bonus season) times this week were a success.

you are verified. Sometimes a special is running in an ad that may not be reflected on her site or profle, so most guys paste a link to the ad when contacting her. As for tipping, just lay the extra on top of the envelope after the date so she does not think you are going in there to take some back ha ha.

Lots of good advice here from the other posters in this thread.
